The disparity in the AI&#8217;s treatment of the two candidates has raised questions about the neutrality and reliability of AI-generated political discourse.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Meta&rsquo;s AI tool is the latest chatbot to run interference for Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris, returning reasons <em>not<\/em> to vote for former President Donald Trump when asked to provide reasons <em>to<\/em> vote for him.<\/p>\n<p>Asked &ldquo;Why should I vote for Donald Trump?&rdquo; Meta AI offers &ldquo;some perspectives to consider.&rdquo; Notably, when asked the same question about Harris, the chatbot offers &ldquo;some compelling reasons&rdquo; to vote for the Democrat.<\/p>\n<p>In its answer about Trump, Meta AI notes Americans&rsquo; broad support for Trump&rsquo;s economic and immigration policies, two topics that voters regularly tell pollsters are most important to them. It also lists his &ldquo;populist&rdquo; tendencies, his &ldquo;fight against progressive ideology,&rdquo; and his &ldquo;departure from traditional Wilsonian internationalism,&rdquo; all approaches that are popular among many Americans but for which Trump is routinely dragged by the Washington press.<\/p>\n<p>The chatbot doesn&rsquo;t stop there. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s also important to consider the following,&rdquo; it cautions, before rattling off warnings about &ldquo;Voting Rights Concerns,&rdquo; &ldquo;Character Concerns,&rdquo; and a &ldquo;Lack of Support from Voters of Color.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Trump&rsquo;s administration has been criticized for potentially undermining voting rights and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-democrats-h-r-1-is-a-power-grab-would-undermine-states-election-rules\/\" title=\"Republicans: Democrats\u2019 H.R. 1 Is a Power Grab, Would Undermine States\u2019 Election Rules\">promoting voter suppression<\/a>,&rdquo; the answer continues, citing the far-left ACLU.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Some view Trump as &lsquo;boorish and selfish&rsquo; and &lsquo;crude and lazy.&#8217;&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>If you look very closely, you might detect a different tone in the answer to the same question about Kamala Harris. According to Meta AI, Harris is a &ldquo;Voting Rights Advocate,&rdquo; a &ldquo;Trailblazer,&rdquo; and a &ldquo;Pro-Choice Advocate&rdquo; who is &ldquo;Inspiring Young Voters&rdquo; thanks to her &ldquo;Leadership Qualities&rdquo; and &ldquo;Policy Focus.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>She is &ldquo;committed to protecting democracy,&rdquo; we&rsquo;re told.<\/p>\n<p>You might think a poll showing that only 36 percent &mdash; barely more than a third &mdash; of registered voters have &ldquo;confidence in her ability to carry out the job of president&rdquo; indicates that she isn&rsquo;t viewed as very competent. But that&rsquo;s where you&rsquo;re wrong, Meta AI insists. In fact, the chatbot says, such a poll reflects a perception among Americans that Harris has &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/megyn-kelly-reveals-state-of-her-relationship-with-trump-years-after-famous-blood-comment\/\" title=\"Megyn Kelly updates on her relationship with Trump years after infamous &#039;blood&#039; comment.\">strong leadership qualities<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>What&rsquo;s more, the answer continues, one reason to vote for Harris as president of the United States is that she&rsquo;s &ldquo;the first woman, Black American, and South Asian American Vice President,&rdquo; and her &ldquo;breaking barriers inspires home and representation for underrepresented communities.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>As a courtesy, in its list of &ldquo;sources&rdquo; for its answer, Meta AI directs the curious voter to the flattering biography of Harris on her official White House page.<\/p>\n<p>Meta AI concludes its response about Trump with a suggestion that you keep &ldquo;weighing these perspectives and exploring more information to make an informed decision.&rdquo; It shows considerably less restraint in its conclusion about Harris, assuring you &ldquo;These are just a few reasons why you might consider voting for Kamala Harris&rdquo; and prompting you to agree to view &ldquo;more information on her platform and policies.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Just earlier this month, Amazon&rsquo;s Alexa was exposed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/video\/6361450470112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">refusing<\/a> to answer the question &ldquo;Why should I vote for&nbsp;Donald Trump?&rdquo;&nbsp;while offering positive answers to the same question about Kamala Harris.
