of the government&rsquo;s censorship operations has dodged Congress&rsquo;s questions about the agency&rsquo;s role in censoring &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-got-troops-killed-in-kabul-but-media-are-mad-at-trump\/\" title=\"Biden Got Troops Killed In Kabul, But Media Are Mad At Trump\">election-related&#038;rdquo<\/a>; After two weeks of discussion with CISA to arrange your testimony, your staff claimed &mdash; for the first time &mdash; that you were scheduled to be out of town on the date of the potential hearing.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-98181a298bde26cdaf152ed67daf86d6 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-98181a298bde26cdaf152ed67daf86d6\"><\/div>\n<p>The letter claims the committee offered three additional dates to reschedule the hearing, but Easterly &ldquo;waited for over a month to again claim&rdquo; and provide voters with accurate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/disinfo-guru-to-voters-trust-corporate-media-instead-of-doing-your-own-research\/\" title=\"Expert Advises Voters to Rely on Corporate Media Over Personal Research\">trusted election information<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>CISA has a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/11\/07\/government-censorship-op-targeted-the-federalists-mollie-hemingway-sean-davis-during-2020-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">long history<\/a> of working to censor not only speech it disapproves of, but speech that is entirely true but considered to be &ldquo;malinformation,&rdquo; which the agency <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisa.gov\/topics\/election-security\/foreign-influence-operations-and-disinformation#:~:text=Misinformation%20is%20false%2C%20but%20not,mislead%2C%20harm%2C%20or%20manipulate.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">describes<\/a> as anything &ldquo;based on fact, but used out of context to mislead, harm, or manipulate.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>During the 2020 election, CISA <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/01\/23\/docs-cisa-knew-risks-of-mail-in-voting-in-2020-but-got-posts-about-them-censored-anyway\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">classified<\/a> social media posts that expressed concerns about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heritage.org\/election-integrity\/commentary\/the-risks-mail-voting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unsupervised mail-in voting<\/a> as &ldquo;disinformation,&rdquo; before flagging them to be censored, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/aflegal.org\/bombshell-documents-america-first-legal-lawsuit-reveals-cisa-knew-about-mail-in-voting-risks-in-2020-while-censoring-related-narratives-as-disinformation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">documents<\/a> obtained by America First Legal. Jordan claims that Jen Easterly, Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), has not provided answers about how CISA collaborates with federal and state governments to suppress lawful speech.
