On the day of \u2064the incident, Routh was found hiding in the bushes with an\u200b AK-47 style \u2063rifle, \u2063a scope, a GoPro camera, and backpacks containing ceramic tiles. He was discovered after a Secret Service agent who was stationed one hole ahead of the former president on the course noticed a gun barrel sticking out of the bushes. The agent engaged with Routh, causing the suspect to flee by car.<\/p>\n<p>The police found Routh&rsquo;s car, a&nbsp;black Nissan, traveling north on Interstate 95 from Palm Beach County into Martin County when law enforcement pulled him over.
