The assailant, Ryan Routh, a known Democrat donor, was⁢ found with a large⁢ rifle near the ⁤golf course where Trump was playing. Following the incident, there has been a noticeable discrepancy in how ⁣different news organizations have‌ reported the event.

Some outlets, such as The Washington Post, have altered their headlines to obscure ⁤the severity of the attempted assassination, describing it as an “incident” instead. NBC News referred to it as⁢ a “man in custody” without explicitly stating it was an assassination attempt, while CBS used the ⁤opportunity to critique⁣ Trump as a threat to democracy, linking the incident to previous political violence.

Critics ⁤argue that these media narratives serve to downplay the attack and shift blame onto⁤ Trump, suggesting it reflects a broader trend ‍of bias against him. Various commentators highlighted how reports often pivoted from the ‌assassination attempt to ⁣discussing Trump’s alleged role in fostering political‌ violence. This narrative‌ framing has⁢ been criticized as both misleading and indicative ⁣of a media culture hostile toward Trump and his supporters.

In fewer than 24 hours, America’s ethically bankrupt regime media are already attempting to whitewash Sunday’s second assassination attempt against President Donald Trump.

While Trump was playing golf at his West Palm Beach, Florida, estate, Secret Service agents spotted a man in bushes near the course with a large rifle.
