Nicholas Gluba from the 1st District, Marco Battaglia from the 3rd District, and Charles Aldrich from the 4th District will no longer appear on the general election ballot.<\/p>\n
Last month, a State Objection Panel disqualified these candidates, citing that the Libertarian Party failed to properly notify county auditors about its precinct caucus results and delegate selections as required by state law for major parties. Additionally, holding caucuses and conventions on the same night violated state regulations regarding delegate terms.<\/p>\n
A Republican-aligned group challenged their nominations based on this procedural error, arguing it rendered them improperly nominated at June’s state convention since earlier county convention delegates were not correctly elected.
