Hasson (@peterjhasson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/peterjhasson\/status\/1833519947596591360?\">September 10, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>  <script> \t\t\t\tif( ! getCookie( 'ff_subbed' ) ) if( typeof FFADS.replace_ict !='undefined' ) if( FFADS.replace_ict ) eval( FFADS.replace_ict ); \t\t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Hasson cited a truly disgusting article published last week by the establishment shills at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/09\/03\/us\/springfield-ohio-school-bus-crash-haiti-immigrants.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In short, national immigration correspondent Miriam Johnson went to Springfield to craft a story that would make the Times&rsquo;s liberal readers feel good about themselves and the immigration policies President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-video-melania-trump-details-devastating-toll-bidens-presidency-taken-country\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden<\/a> and Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-kamala-harris-asked-dagger-question-border-failure-humiliating-cnn-moment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kamala Harris<\/a> have imposed on small-town Americans without their consent.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;By most accounts,&rdquo; Johnson wrote, &ldquo;the Haitians have helped revitalize Springfield.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In a passage that oozed the sort of elitist condescension one might have found on an antebellum plantation &mdash; or in modern establishment newsrooms and faculty lounges &mdash; Johnson then described members of Springfield&rsquo;s newest community as gathering at churches &ldquo;for boisterous, joyful services in Haitian Creole.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Later, Johnson added an obligatory reference to &ldquo;Nazi sympathizers&rdquo; when describing native Springfield residents&rsquo; outrage over an immigrant who killed an 11-year-old boy in an Aug. 2023 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/school-bus-52-kids-board-overturns-deadly-crash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">driving accident<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, amid the condescension, Johnson conceded that the arrival of approximately 20,000 Haitians since 2020 has taxed the town&rsquo;s resources and done little to help the actual American citizens who already live there.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Yamini Teegala, who has served as CEO of Rocking Horse Community Health Center <a href=\"https:\/\/www.springfieldnewssun.com\/news\/rocking-horse-doctor-to-serve-as-new-ceo\/NKC2JSQ245H65LKPKT2DFZ6NC4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">since January<\/a>, described the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/us-mounts-furious-diplomatic-effort-to-head-off-wider-war-in-middle-east-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"US mounts furious diplomatic effort to head off wider war in Middle East - Washington Examiner\">center&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s tenfold increase in Haitian translation-related expenditures alone as &ldquo;not sustainable.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, schools have become overcrowded, and affordable low-income housing has nearly evaporated.<\/p>\n<p>No one, of course, blames the Haitians &mdash; at least not the ones who have refrained from any wild allegations about eating wildlife and pets.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the blame rests squarely with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/2024-election-biden-says-quiet-part-loud-reason-border-invasion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden administration<\/a> and its inept policy making.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson referred to a &ldquo;federal program that offered [Haitians] temporary protection in the United States.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>By that she meant the Biden administration&rsquo;s Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/CHNV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CHNV<\/a>) program.<\/p>\n<p>Under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/judge-upholds-biden-scheme-move-30000-migrants-per-month-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CHNV<\/a>, the Biden administration has admitted up to 30,000 migrants per month from those four countries directly into the U.S..<\/p>\n<p>Employers, of course, love the program. So do landlords.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie McGregor, chief executive at McGregor Metal in Springfield, praised the Haitian immigrants who filled jobs at his company.<\/p>\n<p>Gary Durst, a landlord who owns rental properties in Springfield, &ldquo;acknowledged that some Americans have been displaced,&rdquo; as Johnson put it. But that did not stop the landlord from waxing rhapsodic about his role in the town&rsquo;s alleged revitalization.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I probably have $25 million invested in this town,&rdquo; Durst said. &ldquo;I believe in this town.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In other words, the story has never changed. Mass immigration &mdash; in this case illegal immigration, for the federal court that refused to halt the CHNV program did not rule on its legality &mdash; benefits the affluent at the expense of ordinary citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday on X, Republican Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jd-vance-drops-8-post-bomb-kamala-harris-completely-dismantles-right-trump-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">J.D. Vance<\/a> of Ohio &mdash; former President Donald Trump&rsquo;s running mate &mdash; blasted liberals who have expressed more concern over a potentially unfounded rumor about geese and pets than they have about displaced Americans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>WARNING: The following post contains language that some readers may find offensive.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&ldquo;If you&rsquo;re a reporter, or an activist, who didn&rsquo;t give a s*** about these suffering Americans until yesterday, I have some advice: Spare your outrage for your fellow citizens suffering under Kamala Harris&rsquo;s policies.
