Lawsuit coming from my lawyers about this (to add to your 5 thousand others).&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Jack White also posted a photo of the lawsuit on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C_tXSPEp678\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Instagram<\/a> account Monday with the caption, &ldquo;This machine sues fascists.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The video was not available on Martin&rsquo;s or Trump&rsquo;s social media pages as of Sept. 2, <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/white-stripes-trump-jack-white-8912f80007d0df5ecffe91c6b90a9e4f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>according<\/a> to the <em>Associated Press.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time the White Stripes have interacted with Trump over his use of their music. In 2016, Trump used &ldquo;Seven Nation Army&rdquo; in another campaign video, sparking outrage from the duo who said they were &ldquo;disgusted&rdquo; by Trump&rsquo;s use of their song, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/videos\/news\/politics\/elections\/2016\/2016\/10\/05\/91589524\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>according<\/a> to <em>USA Today<\/em>. The band took no legal action at that time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The White Stripes said in the lawsuit they &ldquo;vehemently oppose the policies adopted and actions taken by Defendant Trump when he was President and those he has proposed for the second term he seeks.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The duo is the most recent of over 41 artists who have requested that Trump stop using their music, but few have pursued legal action over copyright infringement.
