Bet on it.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/4870510-harris-trump-debate-anxiety\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a>, Democratic strategists and lawmakers have expressed angst over Vice President Kamala Harris&rsquo;s prospects ahead of Tuesday&rsquo;s debate against former President Donald Trump in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;People are extremely anxious about her performance,&rdquo; Democratic strategist and former Senate aide Ray Zaccaro said. &ldquo;There&rsquo;s a sense of real caution about expectations on her performance.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Indeed. That even includes polling results from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-gets-major-pre-debate-boost-new-york-times-poll-shows-race-changed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">establishment pollsters<\/a> with a recent history of wildly exaggerating support for Democratic presidential nominees.<\/p>\n<p>At least one anonymous Democratic lawmaker admitted anxiety in light of tight polling in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/my-goodness-gracious-cnn-data-analyst-stunned-by-hispanic-voter-shift-that-appears-to-be-helping-trump-in-2-key-states\/\" title=\"Wow&#039;: CNN Data Analyst Amazed by Hispanic Voter Shift Favoring Trump in Two Crucial States\">projected swing states<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;If you&rsquo;re a conscious, informed Democrat, you&rsquo;re nervous. How could you not be? All these battleground states are 48-48 [percent], 49-49 [percent], and there&rsquo;s a lot of support there for Trump that seems incomprehensible, but it&rsquo;s there,&rdquo; the unnamed senator said.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rfk-jr-slams-kamala-harris-says-need-president-can-put-together-english-sentence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kennedy<\/a> himself recently noted, Harris also has a propensity for speaking in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kamala-harris-blasted-saying-hamas-needs-thing-word-salad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">word salads<\/a>. Without saying as much in so many words, the anonymous senator admitted anxiety on that front.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Yeah, I&rsquo;m nervous. She&rsquo;s not tested,&rdquo; the senator said, adding that Harris&rsquo; handlers will prepare her as well as possible and that she really only needs a handful of good moments.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, other Democratic strategists characterized the debate as something the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-defector-emails-pipeline-to-obama-admin-seen-as-currency\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden Defector Emails: &#039;Pipeline&#039; to Obama Admin Seen as &#039;Currency&#039;\">vice president<\/a> must simply &ldquo;get past.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In light of Harris&rsquo;s obvious limitations as a speaker, one can certainly understand Democrats&rsquo; stated anxieties.<\/p>\n<p>Do not think for a moment, however, that they lack the ability to manage or spin whatever transpires on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, for instance, President Joe Biden&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-bill-maher-calls-biden-hard-look-debate-says-election-trump-dominates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">catastrophic<\/a> debate performance on June 27. That performance emboldened Democratic elites to stage a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/leftists-melt-new-york-times-columnist-tells-truth-democrats-coup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coup<\/a> against Biden and replace him with Harris.<\/p>\n<p>Or did it? Ask yourselves why the establishment pushed for a historically early presidential debate.<\/p>\n<p>Then, ask yourselves why the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nyt-drops-bomb-biden-debate-wants-race-not-man-four-years-ago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">establishment media<\/a> turned on Biden immediately after the debate, demanding his withdrawal from the race.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, ask yourselves why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biggest-story-year-fact-check-outlet-snopes-admits-lefts-major-claim-trump-false\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Snopes<\/a> finally decided to fact-check the &ldquo;very <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-question-on-everyones-mind-after-debate-who-is-running-the-country\/\" title=\"The Question on Everyone\u2019s Mind After Debate: Who Is Running the Country?\">fine people&#038;rdquo<\/a>; hoax only one week before the Biden-Trump debate &mdash; seven years after the media launched that hoax, and five years after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hypocrisy-biden-video-surfaces-shows-calling-pro-confederate-flag-folks-fine-people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> cited the hoax as the reason he ran for president &mdash; if the establishment had not already decided to jettison Biden in the event of an embarrassing debate performance.<\/p>\n<p>The establishment has a plan for Harris, just as they did for Biden.<\/p>\n<p>In short, they know that she cannot speak in an interview or press gaggle without lapsing into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/andrea-mitchells-face-says-kamala-harris-wraps-interview-word-salad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">word salads<\/a>. The same holds true for unscripted parts of speeches.<\/p>\n<p>With that in mind, they have kept her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kamala-terrified-press-conferences-harris-spokesman-refuses-commit-cnn-host-presses-live-air\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">largely hidden<\/a> from public view. In the meantime, they have allowed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/latest-time-magazine-cover-takes-mainstream-medias-creepy-kamala-worship-new-level\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">establishment media<\/a> to run her campaign for her.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, however, they recognize the odds of her suffering a Biden-like debate collapse as fairly low. As long as she can memorize lies and avoid viral clips of her brain malfunctioning &mdash; something Biden could not do &mdash; she probably will &ldquo;get past&rdquo; the debate.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, Democratic strategists and lawmakers have set the bar as close to the ground as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Then, when she clears that absurdly low hurdle, they will pretend that she somehow channeled Demosthenes.<\/p>\n<p>Surely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-reveals-exactly-fix-biden-harris-econ-disaster-will-rapidly-defeat-bidenflation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> knows all of this, as well.<\/p>\n<p>One wonders, therefore, how he will conduct himself during the debate.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps, he will assume a characteristically defiant posture and emerge with one or two of his own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/message-discipline-trump-style-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Message discipline, Trump style - Washington Examiner\">signature debate moments<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Or, perhaps he will take a passive, disciplined approach. Answer the questions posed to him. Then, allow her to talk.
