Secure our borders.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Kirk was citing &ldquo;a screengrab of a post which appears to have been d in the private group Springfield Ohio Crime and Information,&rdquo; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/charlie-kirk-kamala-harris-migrants-pets-springfield-ohio-1950783\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsweek<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That purported screengrab said, &ldquo;Warning to all about our beloved pets &amp; those around us!!<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;My neighbor informed me that her daughter&rsquo;s friend had lost her cat. She checked pages, kennels, asked around, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;One day she came home from work, as soon as she stepped out of her car, looked toward a neighbor&rsquo;s house, where Haitians live, &amp; saw her cat hanging from a branch, like you&rsquo;d do a deer for butchering, &amp; they were carving it up to eat.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve been told they are doing this to dogs, they have been doing it at snyder park with the ducks and geese.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>That alarming anecdote was accompanied by a link to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2024\/07\/10\/biden-floods-ohio-town-20000-haitian-migrants-ten-bedroom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Breitbart<\/a> article reporting on the 20,000 &ldquo;Haitian immigrants that have flooded the city.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>As to whether or not this is a tree worth barking up for Trump come Tuesday&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republican-national-committee-raises-third-debate-threshold-for-primary-candidates-report\/\" title=\"Report: Republican National Committee increases debate requirements for primary candidates.\">presidential debate remains<\/a> to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>Trump probably won&rsquo;t after local law enforcement came out and denied these claims, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/conormurray\/2024\/09\/09\/police-reportedly-deny-claims-of-haitian-immigrants-eating-pets-in-ohio-spread-by-jd-vance-and-right-wing-commentators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forbes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There have been &ldquo;no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community,&rdquo; Springfield Police investigations commander Mike Kranzbut said.<\/p>\n<p>But that didn&rsquo;t stop Trump&rsquo;s running mate from blasting the immigration policies that are leading to rampant crime &mdash; if not pets being consumed.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Months ago, I raised the issue of Haitian illegal immigrants draining social services and generally causing chaos all over Springfield, Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn&rsquo;t be in this country.
