Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who was also on the call, said he thinks Harris&rsquo;s top goal will be &ldquo;to separate herself from Joe Biden,&rdquo; another goal the Trump team deems impossible.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Kamala is not some new arrival in American politics,&rdquo; Gaetz said. &ldquo;She has a record as a district attorney, and as attorney general, that record is incredibly liberal &mdash; and President Trump is going to tie her to that record during the debate.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Harris&rsquo;s team wants to cast her as an agent of change, contrasting her relative youth and the fact that she&rsquo;d be the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/campaign-2024-an-early-look-at-the-possible-republican-contenders\/\" title=\"Campaign 2024: An Early Look At The Possible Republican Contenders\">female president<\/a> against sending Trump in for a second term.
