Of those surveyed, only 54.6% said they would be in favor of the measure, while 25.8% said they would oppose it, and 19.6% said they were unsure.<\/p>\n<p>The measure also fell below the 60% threshold in a poll conducted by Florida Atlantic University last month, only garnering 56% support.<\/p>\n<p>The amendment has seen a drop in support in recent months, as the main opposition group to the measure, Vote No on 4, launched. County\u2019s New Controversial D.A.\">voters supported<\/a> the measure, and a May CBS News poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/abortion-economy-inflation-poll-florida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"showed\">showed<\/a> 60% of likely Florida voters supported Amendment 4.<\/p>\n<p>Abortion has been seen as a way for Democrats to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3013038\/democrats-believe-abortion-florida-play-november\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"gain ground\">gain ground<\/a> in the increasingly Republican state, with Vice President Kamala Harris&rsquo;s campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3141840\/florida-democrats-harris-bus-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"gain ground\">launching<\/a> a bus tour in the state to tout abortion rights.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Major Florida Republicans, including former President Donald Trump and Gov.
