Wallnau has been hitting swing states as part of his &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/christian-leaders-launching-courage-tour-key-swing-states-ahead-2024-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Courage Tour<\/a>,&rdquo; since the spring, along with evangelist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/murillo-trump-will-need-even-bigger-miracle-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mario Murillo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Garrett continued, &ldquo;Wallnau is a business consultant and firebrand influencer in the growing Christian nationalist movement, reaching millions of believers across his platforms.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>So what does Garrett want his viewers to know so far? Wallnau is a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/america-needs-jesus-tucker-carlson-sits-christian-nationalist-warned\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Christian nationalist<\/a>,&rdquo; a term the left made up to try to tie people who believe in Jesus and love their country to white nationalism.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/znGdFES0IbE?si=ysDx_xvxjxehB3Of\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The reporter also highlighted that it&rsquo;s a growing movement filled with &ldquo;rapturous&rdquo; followers &mdash; in other words, he implied, they&rsquo;re irrational.<\/p>\n<p>So we can see where this is going already.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He views Trump as a once-in-a-thousand-years figure, flawed, yet divinely chosen to navigate chaotic times,&rdquo; Garrett said.<\/p>\n<p>Subtext: What sort of looney person would see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-trump-tells-dr-phil-blame-assassination-attempt-interview-opponent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> like that?<\/p>\n<p>CBS is not the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">mainstream news outlet<\/a> to report about Wallnau seeing Trump as God&rsquo;s choice.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation-now\/2016\/11\/10\/meet-evangelicals-prophesied-trump-win\/93575144\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USA Today<\/a> featured him in a story days after the 2016 election titled, &ldquo;Meet the evangelicals who prophesied a Trump win.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The news outlet noted that Wallnau had written an article for Charisma Magazine, published Oct. 5, 2016, titled, &ldquo;Why I Believe Donald Trump Is the Prophesied President.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Wallnau told Garrett the stakes are high in the current race between Trump and Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kamala-harris-butchers-bible-quote-twists-meaning-sacrilegious-purposes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kamala Harris<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t see how anyone with moral clarity sits out an election like this. I mean, the issues are so clear,&rdquo; Wallnau said. &ldquo;I tell Christians, I say, &lsquo;You know what? What would you say during the Civil War?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Then, the issue was whether <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/american-schools-teach-race-racism-slavery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">slavery<\/a> would continue to exist in America.
