Kennedy to cast ballots in favor of former President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The PAC, titled Make America Healthy Again (MAHA), is run by a dozen senior staffers who ran Kennedy&rsquo;s independent presidential campaign. The third-party candidate dropped out to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/23\/rfk-jr-drops-out-of-2024-race-endorses-trump-for-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">endorse<\/a> the Republican nominee last month.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Three great causes drove me to enter this race in the first place,&rdquo; Kennedy said the day after Democrats concluded their convention in Chicago. &ldquo;And these are the principle causes that persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to throw my support to President Trump.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy&rsquo;s endorsement immediately crashed the Democrats&rsquo; &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5atlanta.com\/news\/kemp-says-dnc-is-sugar-high-voices-full-throated-support-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sugar high<\/a>&rdquo; from the DNC, threatening to spoil Vice President Kamala Harris&rsquo;s roughly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/trump-vs-harris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">two-point lead<\/a>. The independent candidate polled around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/trump-vs-harris-vs-kennedy-vs-stein-vs-west\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">5 percent<\/a> throughout August in the aggregate of surveys by RealClearPolitics.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy ran on a three-pillared platform against censorship, a U.S.-funded forever war in Ukraine, and the runaway epidemic of chronic disease &mdash; a platform now at the center of a new campaign to drive independent votes for Trump.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[RELATED:[RELATED:<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/27\/the-lefts-abandonment-of-personal-health-drove-rfk-jr-from-the-democrat-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Left&rsquo;s Abandonment Of Personal Health Drove RFK Jr. From The Democrat Party<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our team, made up of former senior Kennedy campaign officials, is uniquely positioned to ensure that RFK Jr.&rsquo;s supporters understand that his vision for a healthier, freer America will be best realized through electing President Trump,&rdquo; Jeff Hutt, a spokesman for the new PAC, said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/make-america-healthy-again-pac.prowly.com\/348466-make-america-healthy-again-maha-super-pac-launches-with-rfk-jrendorsement-of-donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a>. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re ready to bring this movement to every corner of the country.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The organization&rsquo;s press release outlines four primary areas the PAC plans to focus on in promoting candidates, including chronic disease, regenerative agriculture, conservation, and corporate corruption.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We want to be big, we want to be bold,&rdquo; Hutt told The Federalist in an interview, making clear the new PAC will be supporting candidates in future cycles beyond this fall. The group launched with seed funding from former campaign supporters and volunteers and has set a goal of fundraising $3.5 million before Election Day.<\/p>\n<p>Hutt said the new group will earn Kennedy and his coalition a better seat at the policy table in Washington with efforts he claims will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hispanic-vote-is-breaking-heavily-for-trump\/\" title=\"Hispanic voters are significantly favoring Trump\">swing key battleground states<\/a> in Trump&rsquo;s direction.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Early polling said that the majority of our support is actually within swing states,&rdquo; Hutt said, listing Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Nevada in particular.<\/p>\n<p>Hutt also said the group could turn traditionally blue states, such as Oregon, New Mexico, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, into electoral battlegrounds. &ldquo;Those are never red states, but we have a good enough support base,&rdquo; Hutt said, &ldquo;I think we could make a big statement in this election cycle and maybe not win [them] but make those states competitive and change the electoral landscape.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Hutt said voters will be persuaded by Kennedy&rsquo;s platform on personal health after decades of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-kennedy-backed-pac-aims-to-make-america-healthy-again\/\" title=\"New Kennedy-Backed PAC Aims To &#039;Make America Healthy Again&#039;\">corporate-driven diet advice proliferated<\/a> an epidemic of chronic disease. Indeed in the 1960s, when Kennedy&rsquo;s uncle was president and his father the U.S. attorney general, American health spending was just&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/184968\/us-health-expenditure-as-percent-of-gdp-since-1960\/#:~:text=In%202021%2C%20U.S.%20national%20health,GDP%20share%20among%20developed%20countries.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">5 percent<\/a>&nbsp;of gross domestic product. By 2021, it was more than 18 percent of GDP. Obesity rates have also&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/usafacts.org\/articles\/obesity-rate-nearly-triples-united-states-over-last-50-years\/#:~:text=In%20the%20early%201960s%2C%20roughly,obesity%20rate%20closer%20to%2043%25.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tripled<\/a>&nbsp;since the early 1960s ushered in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodprocessing.com\/home\/article\/11365303\/a-history-of-food-processing-anniversary-edition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">industrialization<\/a>&nbsp;of the food supply and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC9794145\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ramaswamy-won-the-debate-about-health-care-no-one-else-is-willing-to-tackle\/\" title=\"Ramaswamy triumphs in tackling neglected health care debate\">low-fat diet craze<\/a><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy shared a video on X last week outlining the empirical comparisons of today with the time when his uncle was promoting national fitness programs as president.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;When he was in office, obesity was at 13 percent. Today it&rsquo;s at 45 percent,&rdquo; Kennedy said, while just &ldquo;6 percent of Americans had chronic disease,&rdquo; compared to 54 percent by 2006.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">JFK was dedicated to making Americans the healthiest people on earth.
