Character it does matter,&rdquo; Michigan Rep. Dan Kildee told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/08\/28\/politics\/congressional-democrats-harris-campaign-values-policy\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He added: &ldquo;If it turns on character, this election is over. That&rsquo;s what people are looking for.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Other Democrats all but admitted to CNN that a defining of Harris&rsquo;s policies would actually hurt her.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;She doesn&rsquo;t need to negotiate against herself. You know, we&rsquo;ve got the biggest possible tent right now,&rdquo; New Hampshire Rep. Annie Kuster said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t think there&rsquo;s a real, strong reason for her to try and weed out any points of view right now,&rdquo; she continued.<\/p>\n<p>Per <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/4852620-democrats-kamala-harris-campaign-approach-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a>, Harris doesn&rsquo;t have an official policy page on her website and likely won&rsquo;t be adding one anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>In total and complete fairness, Harris did finally come out of hiding for a smidge on Thursday. (On an exceptionally friendly network. With her running mate in tow.)<\/p>\n<p>Though, in truth, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-kamala-harris-cnn-interview-backfires-moment-cost-2024-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">her interview with CNN<\/a> &mdash; Harris&rsquo;s first since becoming the de facto party leader &mdash; left more questions than answers.<\/p>\n<p>The far-from-unbiased <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-kamala-harris-tries-skip-trump-question-rough-cnn-interview-next-question-please\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dana Bash<\/a> refused to press Harris on key questions.<\/p>\n<p>What&rsquo;s more, she brought along her fellow far-left running mate, Minnesota Gov.
