There is no evidence Walz said this.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Walz delivered a speech Thursday night shortly after his acceptance of the Democratic vice presidential nomination at the Democratic National Convention and mentioned his family, saying he loved them, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2024\/08\/22\/nx-s1-5086342\/gus-tim-walz-father-son-dnc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NPR<\/a>. His son, 17-year-old Gus Walz, stood and said, &ldquo;That&rsquo;s my dad!&rdquo; through tears, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>An X <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-did-wisconsins-legislature-vote-to-withdraw-2020s-presidential-electors\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Did Wisconsin\u2019s Legislature Vote To Withdraw 2020\u2019s Presidential Electors?\">image allegedly shows<\/a> a post made by Tim Walz firing back at Coulter after she insulted his son, calling him &ldquo;weird.&rdquo; The photo appears to show Coulter reacting to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-express.com\/news\/politics\/146600\/tim-walz-s-17-year-old-son-breaks-down-tears-father-s-dnc-speech\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">article<\/a> from The Daily Express with the headline &ldquo;Tim Walz&rsquo;s 17-year-old son breaks down in tears at father&rsquo;s DNC speech.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In response, Walz allegedly said, &ldquo;Talk about why your fianc&eacute;s keep leaving you,&rdquo; and included what appears to be a screenshot from Coutler&rsquo;s Wikipedia page. The excerpt reads, &ldquo;Coulter has been engaged several times, but she has never married and has no children.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><span>This image is digitally fabricated, however. No such post can be found on Walz&rsquo;s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/search?q=Talk%20about%20why%20your%20fianc%C3%A9s%20keep%20leaving%20you%20%20(from%3ATim_Walz)&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=live\"><span>X<\/span><\/a><span>  account. The Coulter post, on the other hand, was genuine, but has since been deleted, according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/blog-briefing-room\/4843259-ann-coulter-tim-walz-son-gus-walz-dnc-convention-chicago-2024\/\"><span>The Hill<\/span><\/a><span>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Check Your Fact recently <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2024\/08\/09\/fact-check-tim-walz-x-users-comment\/\"><span>debunked<\/span><\/a><span>  a similar claim involving Walz replying to an X post by bringing up relationship status.
