policy positions are.<\/p>\n<p>Media Research Center surveyed 1,200 &ldquo;registered Democrats and Independents who voted for Joe Biden in 2020&rdquo; and found that on 10 &ldquo;different aspects of Harris&rsquo;s public record &hellip; between 71% and 86% of these Democrats and Independents said they either had not heard of Harris&rsquo;s position or were unsure.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-5914b2e62a2687307e182c6efc1c4ad0 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-5914b2e62a2687307e182c6efc1c4ad0\"><\/div>\n<p>Data shows that when it comes to the key issues like immigration and crime, most Democrats and Independent-Biden supporters have been kept in the dark on Harris&rsquo; most communist-like stances. For example, 78% of voters surveyed were unaware that Harris promoted a fund that led to violent protesters being bailed out of jail during the 2020 riots. Seventy-five percent of those polled were unaware that Harris was once named &ldquo;the most liberal U.S. senator in 2019.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Seventy-four percent of those surveyed had no idea that Harris wanted to decriminalize illegally entering the country, while 72 percent were unaware that Harris &ldquo;never visited a conflict zone on the border as Border Czar.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Unsurprisingly, those surveyed told Media Research Center they get their news from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This suggests that the knowledge gaps found by our poll reveal a failure of these outlets to report on radical positions once (and perhaps currently) supported by the now-Democratic nominee for President,&rdquo; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/nb\/rich-noyes\/2024\/08\/14\/exclusive-mrc-poll-most-dem-voters-dont-know-about-harriss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Media Research Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2f8979984bcdfe54e43c5c08ec5935ee fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2f8979984bcdfe54e43c5c08ec5935ee\"><\/div>\n<p>Harris, as my colleague Ben Weingarten <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/20\/is-kamala-harris-lying-about-her-positions-now-or-was-she-lying-before\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explains,<\/a> &ldquo;has flip-flopped on banning fracking, &lsquo;decriminalizing&rsquo; illegal immigration, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/is-kamala-harris-lying-about-policy-now-or-was-she-lying-then\/\" title=\"Is Kamala Harris Lying About Policy Now Or Was She Lying Then?\">providing universal government health care<\/a>. She seeks to unburden herself from what has been. &hellip;&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Further analysis by the Media Research Center found that from July 21 to August 10, &ldquo;eight of these ten issues received ZERO attention&rdquo; from ABC, CBS, and NBC evening news, while the remaining two issues &ldquo;received only minor coverage.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Maybe we <em>could<\/em> cut some of these voters a little slack for not knowing Harris&rsquo; radical positions: she has yet to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/harris-website-still-lacks-policy-despite-walz-saying-americans-deserve-know-exactly-what-shed-do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">release<\/a> any official proposals, clearly trying to memory-hole her entire career and devise a new (temporary) persona as a moderate. Thus far, however, she has talked of having the government control &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/yes-kamalas-price-controls-lead-to-socialism\/\" title=\"Yes, Kamala&#039;s Price Controls Lead To Socialism\">politically inconvenient prices<\/a>,&rdquo; as my colleague <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/21\/yes-kamalas-price-controls-lead-to-socialism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">David Harsanyi<\/a> writes, and giving first-time home buyers $25,000.<\/p>\n<p>That said, these voters deserve repudiation if they ultimately do vote for Harris without having any clue what her policy positions are. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-3edab4059ea86c2d69d2c0a8e8501d6d fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-3edab4059ea86c2d69d2c0a8e8501d6d\"><\/div>\n<p>But it&rsquo;s the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/debra-messing-shames-media-waukesha-massacre-was-not-an-accident-dont-minimize-crime\/\" title=\"Debra Messing Shames Media: Waukesha Massacre &#039;Was Not an Accident... Don&#039;t Minimize&#039; Crime\">left-wing corporate media<\/a> who deserve no mercy. Rather than having wall-to-wall coverage of the fact that the sitting vice president released no policy proposals and yet ascended to become the party&rsquo;s nominee (via a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/08\/17\/opinion\/election-dnc-convention.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">coup<\/a>, to be sure), the left-wing government mouthpieces &mdash; I mean, journalists &mdash; have ignored such reality.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, during a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/20\/now-we-know-why-kamala-and-the-media-dont-want-to-talk-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">episode<\/a> of The New York Times&rsquo; &ldquo;The Daily&rdquo; podcast, politics reporter Astead Herndon laughed when asked what Harris&rsquo; administration might look like.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We don&rsquo;t know what type of president she would be,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;Frankly, if you ask any Democrat, they would say that&rsquo;s tomorrow&rsquo;s problem, and as long as she wins the election and stops Donald Trump from winning another term, they don&rsquo;t care.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>But a functioning media <em>should<\/em> care.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, they refuse to put public pressure on Harris to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/32-days-kamala-harris-has-not-held-press-conference-since-emerging-presumptive-democratic-nominee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sit down for an interview<\/a> to explain how she&rsquo;s going to fix the problems that her administration created. Voters might be excused for their ignorance regarding Harris\u2019s extreme positions since she has yet to present any official proposals\u2014seemingly trying to erase her past in favor of a temporary moderate image.<\/p>\n<p>However, if voters choose Harris without understanding her policies fully they deserve criticism.
