She&rsquo;s not one because she has no reason to run for president, no vision, no interest in the job.<\/p>\n<p>The whole point of this herculean, gravity-defying exercise we&rsquo;re in the midst of isn&rsquo;t to make Kamala president. It&rsquo;s to deny Donald Trump the White House. The only way that can happen is for election interference on behalf of Kamala in ways that were once unspeakable.<\/p>\n<p>We&rsquo;re <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/07\/26\/heres-how-the-media-are-lying-right-now-everything-is-fine-edition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">already seeing it<\/a> with inexplicable poll numbers (literally, no one can explain them);&nbsp;a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-one-in-six-biden-voters-would-have-changed-their-vote-if-they-had-known-about-scandals-suppressed-by-media\/\" title=\"Poll: One In Six Biden Voters Would Have Changed Their Vote If They Had Known About Scandals Suppressed By Media\">national news media<\/a> that went from acknowledging Kamala as a perpetual screw-up to heralding her as <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/13\/kamala-harris-isnt-running-a-democrat-campaign-the-media-are-doing-it-for-her\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a glamour queen<\/a>; and an all-hands cleanup effort to remake her reputation from undeniably incapable to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/07\/24\/kamala-cant-win-on-policy-or-performance-so-the-media-will-make-this-campaign-a-race-war\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Barack Obama redux<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We&rsquo;re entering a new phase where Democrats and the media will not only pretend Kamala&rsquo;s last <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/13\/kamala-harris-isnt-running-a-democrat-campaign-the-media-are-doing-it-for-her\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">three embarrassing years<\/a> in office never happened, but they will lie about anything and everything from here forward and to a degree in no way tethered to reality.<\/p>\n<p>Once-great New York Times columnist Thomas Edsall this week asked a bunch of &ldquo;historians&rdquo; and &ldquo;experts&rdquo; at Yale, Harvard, Princeton, and the like to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/08\/21\/opinion\/trump-second-term-2025.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">envision<\/a> a second Trump presidency. The result was the kind of unyielding, hysterical stream of horror fan fiction aspiring writers in high school post on internet forums at 3 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Sean Wilentz, Princeton: &ldquo;The authoritarian imperative has moved beyond Trumpian narcissism and the cultish MAGA fringe to become an article of faith from top to bottom inside the utterly transformed Republican Party, which Trump totally commands.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Laurence Tribe, Harvard: &ldquo;All the dangers foreign and domestic posed by Trump&rsquo;s cruelly vindictive, self-aggrandizing, morally unconstrained, reality-defying character &hellip; would be magnified many times over in any subsequent term.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Timothy Synder, Yale: &ldquo;Democracy depends upon example, and Trump sets the worst possible one. He has openly admired dictators his entire life. He would encourage Xi and Putin.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>These are the people unashamedly supporting a Democrat nominee who got no votes for the spot, who was installed via a bloodless coup, and who is currently serving in an administration that has indisputably weaponized the Justice Department to eliminate its primary political opposition. Or, as the left calls this behavior, &ldquo;the fight for democracy.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Trump &ldquo;would encourage Xi and Putin,&rdquo; meanwhile Kamala as vice president watched Russia invade a sovereign nation and China float a spy balloon across the entire United States. Trump is &ldquo;vindictive&rdquo; while Kamala sits at the top of an administration that, for the first time in American history, criminally charged a former president. Trump voters are &ldquo;cultish&rdquo; while Kamala&rsquo;s party bypassed the entire primary process and rallied behind her as the newly anointed nominee with no consideration for dissenting opinion.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats in positions of authority and prestige will say anything, at the expense of their credibility, to make this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/just-in-floyd-county-georgia-terminates-election-director-after-statewide-audit-discovers-uncounted-votes\/\" title=\"JUST IN: Floyd County, Georgia Terminates Election Director After Statewide Audit Discovers Uncounted Votes\">election work<\/a> for them. Their reputations don&rsquo;t matter to them, so long as they win.<\/p>\n<p>Kamala just proposed a &ldquo;ban on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-says-they-dont-believe-russian-government-was-involved-in-colonial-pipeline-hack\/\" title=\"Biden Says They Don\u2019t Believe Russian Government Was Involved In Colonial Pipeline Hack\">price gouging<\/a>,&rdquo; which is another way of saying &ldquo;price controls,&rdquo; which is another way of saying &ldquo;socialism.&rdquo; Every serious economist on either the left or right says it&rsquo;s an abysmal idea or, at minimum, concedes that it would lead to mass shortages.<\/p>\n<p>Another election intervention required. Axios writer Emily Peck <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2024\/08\/20\/price-gouging-kamala-harris-communism-kamunism?utm_source=newsletter&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=newsletter_axiosam&amp;stream=top\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote<\/a> Tuesday that while Kamala hadn&rsquo;t actually detailed a formal policy on the ban, those fears about shortages are &ldquo;just not how anti-price gouging policies work in the U.S.&rdquo; Paul Krugman at the Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/08\/19\/opinion\/kamala-harris-economic-agenda.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote<\/a> that what Kamala &ldquo;actually&rdquo; meant was &ldquo;legislation banning price gouging on groceries.&rdquo; And while Krugman opposes just about every popular proposal put forth by Trump, he declared that in this case, &ldquo;just because something is popular doesn&rsquo;t mean that it&rsquo;s a bad idea.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Up is down. Wet is dry. Kamala is taken seriously.<\/p>\n<p>You haven&rsquo;t seen anything yet. The election interference on behalf of Kamala is going to get so much worse. Their responses resembled exaggerated horror stories typically shared by aspiring writers online late at night.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, Sean Wilentz from Princeton stated that Trump&#8217;s influence has transformed the Republican Party into one dominated by authoritarianism. Laurence Tribe of Harvard warned that Trump&#8217;s vindictive nature would pose even greater dangers if he were re-elected. Timothy Snyder from Yale emphasized that democracy relies on examples set by leaders, claiming Trump sets an extremely poor example due to his admiration for dictators.<\/p>\n<p>These individuals openly support a Democratic nominee who received no votes during primaries and was effectively placed in power through questionable means while serving in an administration accused of weaponizing justice against its political rivals\u2014actions they label as \u201cthe fight for democracy.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>While they claim Trump would embolden foreign adversaries like Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, it\u2019s worth noting that during her vice presidency, Kamala observed Russia invade Ukraine and China send surveillance balloons across America without taking significant action. They describe Trump as vindictive while overlooking how Kamala&#8217;s administration is historically unique in prosecuting a former president criminally. They label Trump supporters as cult-like while ignoring how their party bypassed traditional primary processes entirely in favor of rallying behind Harris without considering dissenting views.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats holding influential positions seem willing to sacrifice their credibility just for electoral success; winning appears more important than maintaining their reputations. Recently, Kamala proposed legislation aimed at banning price gouging\u2014a euphemism for price controls or socialism\u2014which economists across the spectrum criticize or predict would lead to shortages.<\/p>\n<p>In response to concerns about potential shortages stemming from such policies\u2014despite no formal policy being outlined\u2014Axios writer Emily Peck dismissed these fears outright regarding anti-price gouging measures in America.
