His extended farewell kicks off on Monday with his final address to the Democratic National Convention as president, a consequence of party leaders believing his polling numbers were insufficient to defeat former President Donald Trump. Vice President Kamala Harris has already secured the nomination, but since the convention was pre-scheduled, it will proceed as planned. Most polls indicate that she has made the race competitive against Trump, although her momentum has recently slowed due to media coverage. Seven national polls released this week show a near tie in the race; Harris leads in three of them.

Voters should aspire for their leaders to be exceptional individuals—possessing greater intelligence, talent, energy, wisdom, executive skills, and charisma—rather than ordinary people. This notion reflects an extreme level of egalitarianism prevalent in American culture.

For Biden this week brought some positive developments: inflation seems under control and is now within the Federal Reserve’s desired 2% range before any rate cuts are considered. Additionally, illegal immigration rates have returned closer to those seen during Trump’s presidency compared to last year’s crisis levels. Democratic pollster John Zogby awarded an “A” grade for these favorable inflation figures while conservative analyst Jed Babbin gave a “D-minus,” arguing that any economic gains could be overshadowed by Harris’ “Soviet-style” economic proposals.

Zogby noted that inflation continues its downward trend and is at its lowest point in over two years under Biden’s administration. Without undermining her boss directly, Vice President Harris presented her economic strategies which echo aspects of Biden’s “Building Back Better” initiative by combining working-class populism with government support reminiscent of FDR and LBJ policies. Recent polls indicate she is gaining ground against Trump nationally and making strides in key battleground states like Arizona and Georgia.

Harris’ favorable period will extend through next week with the upcoming Democratic National Convention set to start on Monday. In contrast, Trump appears increasingly stale and negative as Biden prepares for a cinematic moment at the convention during a planned “Thank you Joe” event on Monday night.

On another note regarding Biden’s absence from active campaigning: he plans to support Harris in crucial states—a move likely not well-received by her or others given her recent strategy mirroring his 2020 campaign approach by avoiding press interactions until Friday when she finally revealed significant economic policies aimed at lowering food prices—an issue largely attributed to their own administration’s excessive spending practices.

Her proposed solutions include implementing price controls reminiscent of Soviet-era tactics targeting companies accused of price gouging without addressing government spending reductions that could alleviate inflation pressures—a strategy likely leading only to decreased food availability similar to past failures seen historically.

Additionally among her ambitious goals is constructing three million homes for first-time buyers funded presumably through government resources—again raising concerns about further radical spending contributing more inflationary pressures amidst escalating global tensions involving Iran-Israel conflicts and Ukraine-Russia hostilities while leadership appears absent from Washington D.C., evoking nostalgia for previous administrations perceived as more competent during crises.

As Democrats prepare for their convention next week amid potential protests reminiscent of tumultuous events from 1968 Chicago DNC gatherings overshadowed by riots outside venues—the political landscape remains charged with uncertainty ahead

[538
3620,33296,32127
post-2325955","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-washington-examiner","tag-biden","tag-report-card","tag-white-house
["GET
