on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">social media<\/a>, was sentenced after she was <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/05\/d-c-jury-convicts-great-grandma-for-walking-around-the-capitol-for-10-minutes-on-jan-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">convicted<\/a> on four misdemeanor charges this spring. Lavrenz was found guilty of entering and remaining in a restricted building; disorderly conduct and disruptive conduct in a restricted building; disorderly conduct in the Capitol; and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in the Capitol.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-85df9f3794db9062758e44ccdeb6561e fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-85df9f3794db9062758e44ccdeb6561e\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2024\/08\/13\/el-paso-praying-grandma-january-6-sentence-probation-jail-us-capitol-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According<\/a> to the Denver Post, Lavrenz, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/january-6-protestor-who-avoided-jail-says-she-racked-up-legal-fees-nearly-equal-to-yearly-income\/\" title=\"January 6 Protestor Who Avoided Jail Says She Racked Up Legal Fees Nearly Equal To Yearly Income\">avoided jail time<\/a>, &ldquo;was sentenced Monday to 12 months of probation and six months of home detention with an internet restriction&rdquo; in addition to &ldquo;more than $103,000 in fines, restitution and special assessments.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Lavrenz explained the extent of her conduct at the Capitol during a telephone <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=g5uc6mhf4Do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interview<\/a> with Newsmax on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I went through a door that opened in front of me, and I walked through the Capitol. In June, however, the Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/06\/28\/supreme-court-tosses-obstruction-charges-for-j6-defendants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ruled<\/a> defendants who were charged with felonies under the 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act as obstructing an official proceeding were unfairly prosecuted. The statute had been exploited to charge more than 300 defendants with additional felonies in the more than three years since the riot, allowing prosecutors to seek up to 20 years of jail time.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/scotus-overturns-chevron-doctrine-upends-administrative-state\/\" title=\"SCOTUS Overturns Chevron Doctrine, Upends Administrative State\">high court&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s ruling in <em>Fischer v.
