David\u200d Strange, the DNC&#8217;s deputy operations director in the state, argues that the Green Party cannot nominate presidential electors because it lacks a qualified \u200cstate officer. \u2062Additionally, the complaint mentions that the Green Party opted not to pursue a write-in campaign during the recent Wisconsin primary. Democrats feared at the time that the Green Party candidate, Howie Hawkins, could hurt then-candidate Joe Biden in the battleground state.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is also not the first time Democrats have gone after a third<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-mexico-congressional-election-poses-early-test-for-democrats\/\" title=\"New Mexico Congressional Election Poses Early Test for Democrats\">-party candidate<\/a> in this election. In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/court-freezes-bidens-student-debt-relief-scheme-for-certain-borrowers\/\" title=\"Biden&#039;s student debt relief plan halted by court for specific borrowers.\">case brought forward<\/a> by the Democratic-aligned group Clear Choice Action, independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/3119361\/rfk-jr-accuses-dnc-lawfare-being-denied-place-new-york-ballot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>denied<\/a> a spot on the New York ballot on Monday after Judge Christina Ryba ruled that he used a &ldquo;sham&rdquo; address to register to vote in the state. Democrats are attempting to get him off other states&rsquo; ballots, as well.<\/p>\n<p>The DNC complaint comes as former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are locked in a tight race for the presidency. When third-party candidates are included in the race in Wisconsin, Harris leads Trump by 1.8 percentage points, 46.3% to 44.5%, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/wisconsin\/trump-vs-harris-vs-kennedy-vs-west-vs-stein\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>according to<\/a> <em>RealClearPolitics<\/em>.
