is working to keep even sizable majorities of Democrats and independent voters are in the dark about what she supports.<\/p>\n<p>The results of a new survey of her top 10 most controversial stands shows that her new supporters in her bid for president are unclear and mostly wrong about her.<\/p>\n<p>From a pool of 1,200 Democrats and independents, 71%-86% said that they &ldquo;either had not heard of Harris&rsquo;s position or were unsure,&rdquo; Associates, which has advised the campaign of former President Donald Trump, the lack of knowledge by her supporters of her positions is stunning.<\/p>\n<p>MRC said the results showed the impact of the media focusing more on crowd sizes and the &ldquo;joy&rdquo; Harris displays at her invitation-only rallies instead of policy.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;A detailed Media Research Center examination of ABC, CBS, and NBC evening news coverage in the three weeks since Harris became the leading Democratic candidate (July 21 to August 10) shows eight of these 10 issues received zero attention from these newscasts, while two others received only minor coverage,&rdquo; Some 14% of Democrats and independents had heard of that, while the rest were unaware.<\/p>\n<p>Just 25% of voters knew that Harris was declared the most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/liberal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>liberal<\/a> senator in the chamber.<\/p>\n<p>On her most controversial positions, defunding the police and reparations to blacks for America&rsquo;s slavery past, just 29% were aware.<\/p>\n<p>MRC&rsquo;s analysis concluded:<\/p>\n<p><em>If our poll had been conducted even as recently as June, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/voting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>voters<\/a>&rsquo; lack of knowledge about Harris might be understandable. But this poll was conducted in August, when the vice president was receiving the most intense news coverage of her political career.
