In Pennsylvania, the Keystone Renewal PAC had booked millions of ads for GOP candidate Dave McCormick and another super PAC <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/teddyschleifer\/status\/1779984444226494627\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>is prepared to spend <\/a>on behalf of Republican Larry Hogan in Maryland.<\/p>\n<p>The Ohio race has become 2024&rsquo;s first non-presidential race to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3117187\/political-ad-spending-senate-races\/\"> exceed<\/a> $300 million in spending, and it&rsquo;s also one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/adimpact.com\/blog\/updated-2024-political-projections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>most expensive races <\/a>that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-most-expensive-senate-races-in-2024-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"The most expensive Senate races in 2024 - Washington Examiner\">political ad tracking firm<\/a> has seen.<\/p>\n<p>Before NRSC pulled their advertising spending, Ohio was the only state in which Republicans had been outspending Democrats on campaign ads, where they were slated to spend $158.4 million compared to $152 million from Democrats. However, now Democrats have spent more in future advertising slated in the state, with $86.2 million in future ads compared to Republicans&rsquo; $83.3 million.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/sherrod-brown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brown<\/a>&nbsp;(D-OH) is polling better than his Republican challenger while former President&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a>&nbsp;has a much larger lead in the same state. In an average of polling, Brown is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/senate\/general\/2024\/ohio\/brown-vs-moreno\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"outpacing\">outpacing<\/a> Moreno by five points.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of the ad cash is coming in from outside groups such as the Democratic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/orgs\/duty-honor\/summary?id=D000070767\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Duty and Honor<\/a> group, which invested $28.7 million and represents 51% of Democratic spending, while the Republican group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/orgs\/one-nation-pac\/summary?id=D000046014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>One Nation<\/a> spent $27.6 million, which represents 82% of Republican spending.
