Among those drivers was a surgeon who had to cancel his surgeries for the rest of the day and a mother who didn&rsquo;t have access to food or water for her baby.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Eight people were charged with felony conspiracy, and 18 were charged with misdemeanor conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>Between the 26 people, they face an additional laundry list of charges, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/take-care-of-maya-trial-jury-finds-hospital-liable-awards-family-211-million\/\" title=\"Hospital found liable, family awarded 1 million in &#039;Take Care Of Maya&#039; trial.\">including false imprisonment<\/a>, trespassing to interfere with business, obstruction of a thoroughfare, unlawful assembly, refusal to disperse at a riot, and failure to obey the lawful order of a uniformed officer.<\/p>\n<p>Those charged have until Monday to surrender themselves to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;While we must protect avenues for free speech, the exercise of free speech cannot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-city-to-reduce-overtime-pay-for-nypd-amid-staffing-shortage-to-fund-migrant-crisis\/\" title=\"NYC to cut NYPD overtime pay to address staffing shortage and support migrant crisis.\">compromise public safety<\/a>,&rdquo; Jenkins <a href=\"https:\/\/sfdistrictattorney.org\/press-release\/golden-gate-bridge-a15-demonstrators-charged\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>said<\/a>. &ldquo;The demonstration on the Golden Gate Bridge caused a level of safety risk, including extreme threats to the health and welfare of those trapped, that we as a society cannot ignore or allow.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The protest occurred at 8 a.m. on April 15.
