Omar&rsquo;s campaign has spent $2.6 million on advertising, compared to Samuels&rsquo;s $32,000.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Omar, who faced accusations of antisemitism for various tweets dating back to 2012 when she said Israel had &ldquo;hypnotized the world,&rdquo; benefits from the support of prominent progressive lawmakers, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who has campaigned on her behalf.<\/p>\n<p>Samuels had received $350,000 indirectly in his 2022 race against Omar, <a href=\"https:\/\/forward.com\/fast-forward\/641967\/ilhan-omar-cori-bush-aipac-israel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>according to<\/a> the <em>Forward<\/em>.
