Now we know it&rsquo;s intimidation at the ballot box. It&rsquo;s undermining the idea that mail-in ballots aren&rsquo;t legal. I think we need to push back on this,&rdquo; Walz said in the clip, which recently recirculated on social media.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;There&rsquo;s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy,&rdquo; Walz continued. &ldquo;Tell the truth where the voting places are, who can vote, who is able to be there. They are the ones who called Georgia&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-supreme-court-seems-to-favor-upholding-key-election-integrity-laws\/\" title=\"Report: Supreme Court Seems To Favor Upholding Key Election Integrity Laws\">election integrity law<\/a>, which led to historic early voter turnout, &ldquo;Jim Crow in the 21st century.&rdquo; They are the historic &ldquo;election deniers,&rdquo; the ones who pretend black Americans don&rsquo;t know how to acquire IDs, and the ones who claim voter roll maintenance is &ldquo;disenfranchisement,&rdquo; among many other false claims.<\/p>\n<p>But for Democrats, &ldquo;misinformation&rdquo; means any speech that threatens their political goals. And they don&rsquo;t let it go unpunished.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-67fb3c2bcacc51f15c583b48762d80d6 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-67fb3c2bcacc51f15c583b48762d80d6\"><\/div>\n<p>That&rsquo;s why Democrats and their friends in Big Tech and the deep state made sure the Hunter Biden laptop was censored during the height of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/what-is-going-on-minnesota-and-wisconsin-both-had-89-90-turnout-something-that-is-highly-unlikely\/\" title=\"What is Going On? Minnesota and Wisconsin BOTH had 89%-90% Turnout -- Something That Is Highly Unlikely\">2020 presidential election<\/a>. Fifty-one former &ldquo;intelligence&rdquo; officials signed onto a letter characterizing the laptop and its contents as Russian propaganda. Their Twitter accounts were locked without explanation for sharing a story that partisan hacks falsely labeled as &ldquo;misinformation&rdquo; and &ldquo;disinformation.&rdquo; Notably, federal authorities have now used the very same laptop as evidence against Hunter Biden in a federal gun case.<\/p>\n<p>But their tactics worked.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-96100681b2d627fcbfec28b0276371ca fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-96100681b2d627fcbfec28b0276371ca\"><\/div>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/11\/24\/poll-one-in-six-biden-voters-would-have-changed-their-vote-if-they-had-known-about-scandals-suppressed-by-media\/\">report<\/a> from the Media Research Center later found that roughly 1 in 6 Joe Biden supporters would not have voted for him had they known about the laptop.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Censorship-Industrial Complex<\/h2>\n<p>Walz said the quiet part out loud, just reminding anyone who&rsquo;s listening about the Democrats&rsquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-trump-derangement-gave-birth-to-the-censorship-industrial-complex\/\" title=\"How Trump Derangement Gave Birth To The\u00a0Censorship-Industrial\u00a0Complex\">censorship-industrial complex<\/a> that seeks to suppress information that threatens their power.<\/p>\n<p>Look no further than <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/03\/13\/newsguard-claims-not-to-be-government-funded-but-a-750k-grant-suggests-otherwise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">government-funded<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/11\/15\/meet-newsguard-the-government-backed-censorship-tool-billed-as-an-arbiter-of-truth\/\">NewsGuard<\/a>, which portrays anti-establishment media such as The Federalist as unreliable even though we&rsquo;ve been right on all the major news stories that corporate media have botched. And how about the Department of Homeland Security&rsquo;s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency or the Biden administration generally, which have both colluded with Big Tech to censor speech they pretend is &ldquo;disinformation&rdquo;?<\/p>\n<p>Russia hoaxer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/06\/07\/meta-election-guardrails-whatsapp-channels-00161073\">Adam Schiff once demanded<\/a> that WhatsApp Channels censor so-called &ldquo;election misinformation&rdquo; ahead of the election because if it didn&rsquo;t, &ldquo;democratic processes in the United States and across the globe&rdquo; could be threatened.<\/p>\n<p>The chairman of the sham Jan. 6 committee, Rep. Bennie Thompson, said Meta should create rules against disfavored election speech &ldquo;to protect democratic institutions, especially the right to vote and have confidence in election results,&rdquo; according to Politico. Because, as I previously <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/06\/10\/politico-laments-that-whatsapp-isnt-specifically-targeting-election-speech-for-censorship\/\">wrote<\/a>, &ldquo;nothing screams &lsquo;confidence in election results&rsquo; like censoring speech about them.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s simple. Democrats and their media cronies can spew lies all day, every day, about elections, viruses, abortion, immigration, the economy, Republicans &mdash; you name it. It\u2019s crucial to provide accurate information about where and who can vote.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Ironically, Democrats are often seen as major sources of election-related falsehoods themselves; they labeled Georgia&#8217;s election integrity law\u2014which resulted in record early voter turnout\u2014as \u201cJim Crow in the 21st century.\u201d They have also been accused of perpetuating myths about voter ID requirements affecting Black Americans and mischaracterizing voter roll maintenance as disenfranchisement.<\/p>\n<p>For Democrats, &#8220;misinformation&#8221; encompasses any discourse that threatens their political objectives\u2014and they do not hesitate to retaliate against it. This was evident during the 2020 presidential election when efforts were made to suppress stories related to Hunter Biden&#8217;s laptop; over fifty former intelligence officials claimed its contents were Russian propaganda.
