Here is Harris&rsquo;s schedule this week:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Philadelphia<\/h2>\n<p>Harris is starting her campaign tour in Philadelphia, and she is set to campaign alongside her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fla-gov-ron-desantis-becoming-major-voice-for-gop\/\" title=\"Fla. Gov. Ron DeSantis becoming major voice for GOP\">vice presidential pick<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/tim-walz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Gov. Tim Walz\">Gov. Tim Walz<\/a> (D-MN).<\/p>\n<p>Pennsylvania is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-donald-trump-calls-for-protest-in-dc-on-jan-6-says-be-there-will-be-wild\/\" title=\"President Donald Trump Calls For Protest in DC on Jan 6., Says \u2018Be There, Will Be Wild\u2019\">key battleground state<\/a> with the most electoral votes, 19, of all the swing states. It&rsquo;s seen as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3099436\/harris-narrow-path-white-house-appears-run-through-pennsylvania\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>must-win<\/a> for either Trump or Harris. In 2016, Trump flipped the state red for the first time since 1988, while in 2020, Biden flipped the state blue once again by more than 80,000 votes.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Detroit<\/h2>\n<p>In her first stop during this tour in the Midwest, Harris will visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/michigan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Michigan<\/a> on Wednesday. Michigan could be one of the trickier states for Harris to nab as more than 100,000 voted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/2872128\/michigan-arab-uncommitted-protest-vote-warning-sign-biden\/\">&ldquo;uncommitted&rdquo;<\/a> over voting for Biden in the primary due to their dissatisfaction with his handling of Israel&rsquo;s war in Gaza.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Michigan is currently a toss-up. In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/election\/2016\/results\/states\/michigan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2016<\/a>, Trump narrowly flipped the state by a little more than 10,000 votes, but Biden safely won the state in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/election\/2020\/results\/state\/michigan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2020<\/a> by more than 150,000 votes.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eau Claire, Wisconsin<\/h2>\n<p>Harris is not making the mistake of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/state\/2980516\/why-all-eyes-are-on-wisconsin-2024-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>ignoring the state of Wisconsin <\/a>while on the campaign trail. She began her campaign there two weeks ago in the Milwaukee suburb of West Allis, Wisconsin, and now she is headed to the more rural northwest portion of the state Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/wisconsin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Wisconsin<\/a> has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/religion\/religious-landscape-study\/state\/wisconsin\/party-affiliation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>near-even split<\/a> between voters registered as Democrats and Republicans. In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/2020-election\/results\/wisconsin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2020<\/a>, Biden flipped the state blue by only 20,000 votes. In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/2016-election\/results\/map\/president\/wisconsin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2016<\/a>, Trump flipped the state red by a little more than 27,000 votes.<\/p>\n<p>The presidential race is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/state\/3109389\/milwaukees-mayor-wisconsin-voters-their-vote-counts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>expected to be close<\/a> in Wisconsin yet again this year.<\/p>\n<p>Bon Iver, a folk <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/in-the-know\/4811992-bon-iver-performs-harris-campaign-rally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>band<\/a> from Eau Claire, will perform at the event.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Durham, North Carolina<\/h2>\n<p>While a Democratic president has not won <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/north-carolina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>North Carolina<\/a> since former President Barack Obama&rsquo;s historic win there in 2008, Democrats have had their eye on the Tar Heel State. On Thursday, she will visit the state for the eighth time this year.<\/p>\n<p>As her campaign tries to court the Generation Z vote, Harris&rsquo;s visit to Durham, which is in the Research Triangle (consisting of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, and North Carolina State University), highlights that effort.<\/p>\n<p>Harris seemingly has closed some of the polling gap from before Biden suspended his reelection bid. Trump previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/north-carolina\/trump-vs-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>led<\/a> in North Carolina, 47.2% to Biden&rsquo;s 41.5%, according to a <em>RealClearPolitics<\/em> poll. A recent Bloomberg-Morning Consult poll, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/pro-assets.morningconsult.com\/wp-uploads\/2024\/07\/Bloomberg-Swing-State-Wave-10.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>showed<\/a> Trump leading Harris in the state, 48%-46%.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Phoenix<\/h2>\n<p>Harris is set to visit Phoenix on Friday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Harris and Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), who is running for Senate, both have the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3104215\/harris-receives-endorsements-four-border-mayors-arizona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>endorsements<\/a> of many centrist Republicans and independents across the state of Arizona. As Harris visits Phoenix, she is endorsed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3103234\/harris-endorsement-arizona-border-state-official\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>John Giles<\/a>, the Republican mayor of Mesa, a Phoenix suburb that is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/arizona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Arizona<\/a>&rsquo;s third-largest city.<\/p>\n<p>During the 2016 election, Maricopa County was the most populous county that voted for Trump, but it flipped blue for Biden in 2020. It is the population <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/news\/elections\/articles\/why-it-matters-maricopa-county-arizona-and-the-2024-election#:~:text=The%20Phoenix%20metro%20area%20dominates,population%20lives%20in%20Maricopa%20County.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>center<\/a> of the state with more than 60% of Arizonans living in Maricopa County.<\/p>\n<p>While the state was once a solidly Republican-leaning state, it has moved to the left in recent years with a notable blue wave during the 2022 election, which gave Arizona a Democratic governor, attorney general, and secretary of state as well as Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The GOP once strongly held both of Arizona&rsquo;s Senate seats for years, but the party has not won <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/congressional\/3095552\/kelly-vp-pick-arizona-senate-election-even-year-2030\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>a Senate race there<\/a> since 2018. Biden won the state in 2020, which was the first time Arizona voters sent a Democrat to the White House since former President Bill Clinton in 1996.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Las Vegas<\/h2>\n<p>Harris will visit Las Vegas on Saturday to conclude her campaign tour.
