Chansley, who became an iconic figure due to his \u200ddistinctive look, has sought the return of these\u200d items as they were\u2064 taken \u2063by the\u200b Biden \u200badministration. During sentencing, Chansley expressed remorse for his actions, which the court noted in its decision.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Chansley filed a motion under Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 41(g) for the return of his property. Lamberth granted the motion, stating the government had not demonstrated a continued need for the items as evidence. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The government has failed to establish that it still needs Mr. Chansley&rsquo;s property as evidence,&rdquo; the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-refuses-cnns-motion-to-dismiss-dershowitz-defamation-lawsuit\/\" title=\"Judge Refuses CNN&#039;s Motion to Dismiss Dershowitz Defamation Lawsuit\">judge wrote<\/a>.
