Harris has agreed to a Sept. 10 ABC debate, which Trump agreed to with President Joe Biden in May, but then backtracked on and has now proposed the two debate on Fox on Sept. 4. So if you want to have a debate, let&rsquo;s have it on Fox and let&rsquo;s have it September the 18th when he&rsquo;s in an ankle bracelet,&rdquo; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Trump and Biden agreed to two debates, one on June 27 on CNN and another on Sept. 10 on ABC, in May. Biden&rsquo;s performance at the June debate served as the catalyst for the president to heed mounting calls for him to drop out of the race, doing so less than a month following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Atlanta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Atlanta<\/a> debate.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since Harris entered the race two weeks ago, the two sides have negotiated on any new debates. When she was Biden&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Vice-President\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>running mate<\/a>, Harris had committed to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/campaign-2024-an-early-look-at-the-possible-republican-contenders\/\" title=\"Campaign 2024: An Early Look At The Possible Republican Contenders\">vice presidential debate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump was convicted on charges related to a hush money payment made prior to the 2016 election in June.
