It&rsquo;s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s***,&rdquo; the person said.<\/p>\n<p>That has not stopped some from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kamalas-ex-lover-getting-deported-harris-90-year-old-former-boyfriend-speaks-deport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gushing<\/a> over Harris, including Hollywood elites like Drew Barrymore.<\/p>\n<p>During an April appearance on &ldquo;The Drew Barrymore Show,&rdquo; Harris was raved over by the celebrity host, who leaned into a nickname the vice president&rsquo;s step children created as a play on Kamala: Momala. <\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\"> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Vice President Kamala Harris on Becoming \" momala to her husband kids the drew barrymore show width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d_XCKpxsp5k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>But that&rsquo;s not how McAteer described Harris in his 2019 op-ed, writing &ldquo;there is another side of Kamala Harris which the general public does not know.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>He summed up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kamala-harris-staff-quitting-droves-loses-long-serving-aide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how she interacts with her staff,&nbsp;<\/a> from his son&rsquo;s experience.<\/p>\n<p>Harris &ldquo;vocally throws around &lsquo;F-bombs&rsquo; and other profanity constantly in her berating of staff and others. The staff is in complete fear of her and she uses her profanity throughout the day,&rdquo; McAteer wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;As Attorney General, Senator Harris instructed her entire staff to stand every morning as she entered the office and say, &lsquo;Good Morning General,&rsquo;&rsquo; he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>During the internship, he wrote, Harris never introduced herself to McAteer&rsquo;s son.<\/p>\n<p>His son, he wrote, &ldquo;was also given instructions to never address Harris nor look her in the eye as that privilege was only allowed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-president-biden-overruled-staff-to-stop-sanctions-against-the-nord-stream-2-pipeline\/\" title=\"REPORT: President Biden Overruled Staff To Stop Sanctions Against The Nord Stream 2 Pipeline\">senior staff members<\/a>,&rdquo; he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know about you but this is not the workplace of someone who respects her staff. For a woman of color to have employees stand when she enters the room smacks of a bygone era that we, as Americans, deplore and find demeaning,&rdquo; he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Finally, what is up with the &lsquo;don&rsquo;t look her in the eye&rsquo; instruction?
