For <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/numerous-athletes-fleeing-olympic-village-woke-virtue-signalling-creates-nightmare-conditions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Games<\/a> overall, the site received $1.5 billion in infrastructure improvements to help with that effort.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, it seems officials were still unable to get the river quality up as high as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/outrage-erupts-two-athletes-failed-gender-eligibility-tests-cleared-compete-women-olympics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the athletes<\/a> would prefer.<\/p>\n<p>Vermeylen certainly felt they hadn&rsquo;t done enough.<\/p>\n<p>The athlete even went as far as to claim that Olympic officials were putting her and others in danger with their negligence.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Seine has been dirty for a hundred years, so they can&rsquo;t say that the safety of the athletes is a priority. That&rsquo;s bulls***!&rdquo; she said.<\/p>\n<p>To ward off disease,&nbsp;&ldquo;I took pro-biotics, I drank my Yakult, I couldn&rsquo;t do more.
