changes language concerning paternity, children born out of wedlock, as well as mothers and fathers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-3c19fb6ea6638c345e0bb2810caf5688 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-3c19fb6ea6638c345e0bb2810caf5688\"><\/div>\n<p>Rather than referencing the child&rsquo;s &ldquo;mother,&rdquo; the bill will swap out the word for the phrasing &ldquo;person who gave birth.&rdquo; The word &ldquo;father,&rdquo; meanwhile, will be replaced with &ldquo;other parent.&rdquo; The words &ldquo;paternity&rdquo; will be replaced with &ldquo;parentage&rdquo; and &ldquo;his,&rdquo; in reference to the father, will be replaced with &ldquo;their.&rdquo; The bill goes even further to replace the words &ldquo;man&rdquo; Once the bill reaches Gov. Maura Healey&rsquo;s, D-Mass., desk, she has ten days to either sign or veto the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>Massachusetts is not the first state to pass bills promoting radical gender ideology.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c200e265fca0cb7a57c4ff725c0c5807 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c200e265fca0cb7a57c4ff725c0c5807\"><\/div>\n<p>Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pfizer-set-to-rake-in-15-billion-from-covid-19-vaccine-sales\/\" title=\"Pfizer Set To Rake In  Billion From COVID-19 Vaccine Sales\">recently signed<\/a> a bill into law that allows schools to hide <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/07\/11\/newsom-wont-say-if-hell-sign-bill-forcing-schools-to-hide-kids-dysphoria-from-parents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">children&rsquo;s gender dysphoria<\/a> from their parents. Children can change their name, pronouns, and elect to use bathrooms for the opposite sex, and public schools are not required to notify the child&rsquo;s parents.<\/p>\n<p>Similar changes in language have been attempted at the federal level.  <\/p>\n<p>The Biden Administration recently attempted to change language in Title IX protections, swapping out &ldquo;sex&rdquo; for &ldquo;gender identity.&rdquo; A federal judge, along with lawsuits in multiple states, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/06\/18\/bidens-egregious-title-ix-rewrite-blocked-by-six-more-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">blocked<\/a> the proposed change from taking place. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f731ea11a471fe5fd591ab05511fa30f fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f731ea11a471fe5fd591ab05511fa30f\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<div class=\"article-author-description fst-italic\">      Kamden Mulder is a summer intern at The Federalist.
