a Pentagon press release reads.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-add84a3d12dad5173265be69931add2e fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-add84a3d12dad5173265be69931add2e\"><\/div>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/07\/31\/us-news\/9-11-mastermind-ksm-and-two-other-terrorists-awaiting-trial-on-guantanamo-bay-strike-plea-deals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New York Post<\/a>, the former is the &ldquo;accused principal architect&rdquo; of the 9\/11 terrorist attacks, while the latter two are &ldquo;alleged co-conspirators.&rdquo; The three suspected terrorists have been detained by the U.S. military at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba since 2003.<\/p>\n<p>While the Pentagon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defense.gov\/News\/Releases\/Release\/Article\/3857257\/plea-agreements-reached-with-911-defendants-khalid-shaikh-mohammad-walid-bin-at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">declined<\/a> to provide details about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pentagon-fbi-alert-grieving-9-11-families-architect-of-attack-4-others-may-have-death-penalties-overturned\/\" title=\"Pentagon, FBI notify 9\/11 families: Architect of attack and 4 others may have death penalties revoked.\">pre-trial agreements<\/a>, letters sent to 9\/11 victims&rsquo; families by the agency&rsquo;s Office of Military Commissions and subsequently obtained by the Post show the deals will allow the accused perpetrators to avoid the death penalty. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In exchange for removal of the death penalty as a possible punishment, these three Accused have agreed to plead guilty to all of the charged offenses, including the murder of the 2,976 people listed in the charge sheet,&rdquo; Rear Adm. Aaron C. Rugh, OMC&rsquo;s chief prosecutor, reportedly wrote. <\/p>\n<p>Rugh was <a href=\"https:\/\/seapowermagazine.org\/2022\/05\/page\/5\/?print=print-search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nominated<\/a> for the position by Biden in May 2022 and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/carolrosenberg\/status\/1530172648982040577\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">confirmed<\/a> by the Senate later that month. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-14a766b65708b9ea8a9c48ddc23d0382 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-14a766b65708b9ea8a9c48ddc23d0382\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;I am very disappointed. We waited patiently for a long time. I wanted the death penalty &mdash; the government has failed us,&rdquo; Daniel D&rsquo;Allara <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/07\/31\/us-news\/9-11-mastermind-ksm-and-two-other-terrorists-awaiting-trial-on-guantanamo-bay-strike-plea-deals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told<\/a> the Post. D&rsquo;Allara&rsquo;s twin brother John was an officer with the NYPD and perished during the 9\/11 attacks.<\/p>\n<p>News of the disgraceful plea deals was announced a day before the Post separately reported that the Biden-Harris administration has <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/08\/01\/us-news\/jordanian-migrants-who-tried-to-breach-quantico-base-freed-on-bail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released<\/a> two Jordanian nationals recently <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/24\/bidens-border-invasion-is-putting-u-s-service-members-lives-at-risk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">arrested<\/a> for attempting to breach Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia. <\/p>\n<p>According to the report, Hasan Yousef Hamdan and Mohammad Khair Dabous &ldquo;posted thousands of dollars in bail and were allowed to leave federal custody&rdquo; by Immigration Customs and Enforcement. While Hamdan &ldquo;had crossed into the country illegally in April,&rdquo; Dabous &ldquo;had overstayed his student visa and is subject to removal proceedings.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>The Jordanians&rsquo; release was approved by Magistrate Judge William B.
