Obviously there are special circumstances and people who need help, but as a general &ldquo;look how cool, she didn&rsquo;t even have to write anything herself!&rdquo; story, it SUCKS. Then, the press lifted to reveal a sleek new iPad.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ntjkwIXWtrc?si=1DY_N0ePHfElmLTZ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The intended message, of course, was that Apple&rsquo;s product combines all of those other tangible things into one device. Like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/google-snubs-160000-men-landed-normandy-80-years-ago-instead-celebrates-lesbian-chicana-activist-d-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google<\/a> ad, however, it simply missed the mark.<\/p>\n<p>According to the aptly named business-and-technology news outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/05\/09\/apples-crush-ad-is-disgusting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TechCrunch<\/a>, the Apple ad sparked a similarly adverse reaction. And it did so for the same reason.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;What Apple seems to have forgotten is that it is the things in the real world &mdash; the very things Apple destroyed &mdash; that give the fake versions of those things value in the first place,&rdquo; Devin Coldewey wrote for TechCrunch.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, people seldom take kindly to the idea that real things do not matter.<\/p>\n<p>Nor do they react well to messages that even hint at the obsolescence of any human experience.
