He was arrested after his own mother alerted authorities upon hearing screaming in the background during a phone call.<\/p>\n<p>She&rsquo;d been &ldquo;severely beaten, her eye was swollen shut and she also had a severe laceration to her forehead,&rdquo; according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrat-official-who-pulled-knife-on-trump-supporters-indicted-on-weapons-charges-media-tries-to-frame-him-as-victim\/\" title=\"Democrat Official Who Pulled Knife On Trump Supporters Indicted On Weapons Charges; Media Tries To Frame Him As Victim\">police report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/haitian-immigrant-charged-raping-child-shelter-released-500-bail-despite-ice-pleas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bond<\/a> was initially set at $250,000, according to the Daily Mail, but after an April hearing, Nashville Judge Cheryl Blackburn reduced it to $150,000. Rivers&rsquo; family managed to get him out, with the help of two local bail bondsman companies.<\/p>\n<p>Those companies are now under fire for not ensuring the terms of his release were met, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/fox17.com\/news\/local\/nashville-judges-seek-answers-on-bond-oversight-in-lauren-johansen-case\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WZTV-DT<\/a> in Nashville.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, according to the Daily Mail, Rivers was also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cheneys-memoir-offers-warning-about-ruling-class-not-trump\/\" title=\"Cheney&#039;s memoir cautions against ruling class, not Trump\">facing numerous charges<\/a> in Mississippi, including auto burglary and possessing and trafficking a controlled substance, but he&rsquo;d apparently not been convicted yet. Arrests without convictions would not be counted as evidence of criminal history, according to a spokesman for the Davidson County, Tennessee, District Attorney&rsquo;s Office. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nashville-shooter-targeted-children-white-privilege\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nashville<\/a> is in Davidson County.)<\/p>\n<p>He was released June 24, according to the Daily Mail.
