Four percent preferred another candidate, and 6% were undecided or refused to answer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s not a huge surprise to see Trump ahead in his home state of Florida, which he won by 3 points in 2020,&rdquo; UNF PORL faculty director and professor of political science Michael Binder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.actionnewsjax.com\/news\/local\/unf-poll-trump-has-7-point-lead-harris-home-state-florida\/UBARUDRLTFGG3LWRT3JJJPTHW4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>said<\/a>. &ldquo;With Harris just entering the race, enthusiasm amongst her supporters has livened up what was once thought to be an easy win for Trump in Florida.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Those polled were also asked about the Senate election in November between Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) and former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.
