Jamaal Bowman (D-NY). \u200bThe poll reflects a slight improvement \u200cfor Bell compared to\u2064 a previous \u2063survey conducted in June, which \u2062showed him leading Bush by just one percentage\u200b point. The July poll was conducted with 400 voters in the district and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9%.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the uproar regarding Bush, which has allowed a primary challenger to be competitive in the polls, stems from her views on the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas. She has been one of the chief critics of Israel in Congress, going as far as calling the Jewish State&rsquo;s war against Hamas an &ldquo;ethnic cleansing&rdquo; in October, and declined to attend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu&rsquo;s address to Congress last week.<\/p>\n<p>Opposition to Israel has been a key issue, among others, in motivating primary challengers to many Squad Democrats. Westchester County Executive George Latimer had contrasting views on Israel when he challenged Bowman, but mainly focused his campaign on going after the congressman&rsquo;s antics on Capitol Hill, such as when Bowman got into a screaming match with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After Bowman and Bush, the other most vulnerable Squad Democrat is Rep.
