Since then, Democrat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-joy-reid-says-black-people-will-look-crazy-dont-vote-kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">minions<\/a> in the establishment media have led a pro-Harris propaganda blitz.<\/p>\n<p>Amid such surreal events, the details of the Biden proposal have almost no importance on their own. After all, none of this has anything to do with the merits of arguments.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, Biden called for a &ldquo;constitutional amendment called the No One Is Above the Law Amendment.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It would make clear that there is no immunity for crimes a former president committed while in office. I  our Founders&rsquo; belief that the president&rsquo;s power is limited, not absolute. We are a nation of laws &mdash; not of kings or dictators,&rdquo; Biden wrote.<\/p>\n<p>This is pure theater, for no sane person actually believes that a president operates above the law. Nor does any honest person believe that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/turley-scotus-immunity-decision-produces-cardiac-arrest-jack-smith-trump-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SCOTUS ruling<\/a> indicated otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>Biden also called for SCOTUS to face term limits and a &ldquo;binding code of conduct.&rdquo; These proposals would also require constitutional amendments, though Biden overlooked that key detail.<\/p>\n<p>So why does this feel like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-versus-biden-revisited-75th-anniversary-orwells-1984\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Orwell&rsquo;s &ldquo;1984&rdquo;<\/a>? Well, the opinion piece opened with the following statement:<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;<em>The writer is president of the United States<\/em>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Does anyone believe that? If so, then you have ignored the evidence of your eyes and ears.<\/p>\n<p>On June 27 &mdash; little more than a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrats-head-into-smoke-filled-rooms-to-make-kamala-queen\/\" title=\"Democrats Head Into Smoke-Filled Rooms To Make Kamala Queen\">month ago &#038;mdash<\/a>; viewers witnessed the extent of the president&rsquo;s cognitive decline. In a now-infamous debate against Trump, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-bill-maher-calls-biden-hard-look-debate-says-election-trump-dominates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> struggled to finish sentences or even to speak coherently.<\/p>\n<p>That display occurred less than five months after special counsel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/special-counsel-report-states-biden-elderly-man-poor-memory-dealing-massive-blow-democrats-live-cnn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Robert Hur<\/a> declined to prosecute Biden over the mishandling of classified documents, citing the fact that a jury probably would find the president an &ldquo;elderly man with a poor memory.&rdquo;&nbsp; In so doing, Hur merely confirmed what every honest person has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/top-5-biden-gaffes-2022-show-mental-decline-getting-worse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">known for years<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/psaki-forgets-doesnt-work-biden-anymore-rages-media-covering-mental-decline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dishonest actors<\/a> continued to run cover for the president until his debate performance made that task impossible.<\/p>\n<p>Then, Democrats once again moved in lockstep. They <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/powerful-democrats-plot-replace-biden-via-blitz-primary-involve-michelle-obama-taylor-swift-oprah-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pressured<\/a> Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. And everyone knew why. Biden had suffered cognitive decline, which the establishment could no longer conceal even from liberal sheep.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the establishment expects us to believe that a president who cannot finish sentences has nonetheless crafted serious constitutional proposals.<\/p>\n<p>As amendments, of course, those proposals have no chance of adoption by the states. Biden&rsquo;s handlers know that as well as anyone.<\/p>\n<p>After all, a constitutional amendment would require approval by 38 states.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncsl.org\/about-state-legislatures\/state-partisan-composition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Conference of State Legislators<\/a>, Republicans outnumber Democrats in state legislatures by a massive margin, 4,026-3,264. The GOP also controls 28 state legislatures compared to 20 for Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, Biden&rsquo;s proposals appeared in the Post for the sole purpose of advancing the establishment&rsquo;s Orwellian narrative.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/documentary-filmmaker-nick-searcy-everything-happened-jan-6-benefited-deep-state-dems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">greatest threats to democracy<\/a> in U.S. history want you to believe that Trump and SCOTUS threaten democracy.
