would be &lsquo;much worse&rsquo; under possible Harris administration<\/h1>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-title-line\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<div id=\"Brid_1714540\" class=\"tpd-featured-video bridtv\"><\/div>\n<p>Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/tom-cotton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Tom Cotton<\/a> (R-AR) warned Sunday that a possible Harris <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>presidency<\/a> would be &ldquo;much worse&rdquo; than what he has witnessed under the Biden-Harris administration.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Under the Biden-Harris administration, everything has gone to hell, and it will be much worse under Kamala Harris,&rdquo; Cotton said on CNN&rsquo;s <em>State of the Union<\/em> with Jake Tapper.<\/p>\n<p>As Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Kamala Harris<\/a> has emerged as the front-runner to be the Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden exited the race last week, Republicans have pointed to her record and previous policy stances to argue she is too hard Left to be president. <\/p>\n<p>Cotton echoed these concerns during an interview on CNN, saying he believed Harris would bring too many liberal policy goals to the White House.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Just look at her record. She wants to ban private health insurance. She wants to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3101853\/kamala-says-she-doesnt-support-ban-on-fracking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>ban fossil fuel<\/a> production. She wants to ban guns. She even wants to ban plastic straws,&rdquo; Cotton continued.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tapper clarified that Harris wants to ban certain types of guns, but not all, to which Cotton said, &ldquo;She wants to forcefully confiscate guns without even an act of Congress to do so.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cotton and fellow Republicans have been talking about progressive policies Harris embraced during her presidential campaign in 2020 as a way to attack her new candidacy.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Kamala Harris is a dangerous liberal. She makes Joe Biden look competent and moderate by contrast,&rdquo; Cotton said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cotton made the remarks about Harris when asked by Tapper about remarks former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a> made, in which he said, &ldquo;You&rsquo;ve got to get out and vote. In four years, you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3101962\/trump-you-wont-have-to-vote-anymore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>don&rsquo;t have to vote anymore<\/a>.
