Myke Luebbers from the Illinois Freedom Alliance noted that Southern California had more green spaces before the establishment of solar farms, stating, “Now these areas are all brown. Why is that? Solar panels absorb heat and warm up the atmosphere, which reduces moisture and leads to less precipitation—resulting in everything dying.” The Solar Energy Industries Association reports there are 373 solar companies operating in Illinois, contributing 2% of the state’s electricity supply from solar sources. Luebbers mentioned that farmers in Minnesota prefer not having wind turbines on their land due to issues like oil leaks contaminating soil and topsoil erosion caused by turbine blade vortices. He suggested homeowners could benefit from smaller wind generators designed for rooftops that require less space and can operate effectively even with light winds while handling stronger gusts better than large turbines do. Additionally, he pointed out concerns about bird fatalities associated with wind turbines; hundreds of thousands of birds die each year due to these structures across the U.S. According to the Energy Information Administration, wind power contributes 12% of Illinois’ energy generation, with the state ranking fifth nationally in wind energy production

[538
36442,36441,5191,33430,32076
post-2310082","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-washington-examiner","tag-energy-sources","tag-freedom-alliance","tag-leadership","tag-renewable-energy","tag-washington-examiner
["GET
