getCookie( 'ff_subbed' ) ) if( typeof FFADS.replace_ict !='undefined' ) if( FFADS.replace_ict ) eval( FFADS.replace_ict ); \t\t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Despite the establishment&rsquo;s fawning pro-Harris narrative, and despite a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/latest-polls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">slew of polls<\/a> this week that appeared to suggest a tightening race, the Rasmussen poll deserves special attention.<\/p>\n<p>To understand why, readers should know two things.<\/p>\n<p>First, Rasmussen has a recent history of accuracy far superior to that of nearly all other pollsters.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, from a list of 25 pollsters who conducted polling late in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/did-president-trump-spring-a-trap-on-treasonous-democrats-on-election-night\/\" title=\"Did President Trump Spring a Trap on Treasonous Democrats on Election Night?\">2020 presidential election cycle<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/accurate-pollster-2020-releases-rare-poll-adds-insult-injury-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rasmussen ranked<\/a> as the third most accurate, according to Nate Silver of ABC News&rsquo; FiveThirtyEight.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Silver&rsquo;s list became relevant again in late June when AtlasIntel, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/most-accurate-pollster-of-2020-releases-rare-poll-adds-insult-to-injury-for-biden\/\" title=\"&#039;Most Accurate Pollster&#039; of 2020 Releases Rare Poll, Adds Insult to Injury for Biden\">low-volume pollster<\/a> that topped the list, released a poll showing Trump leading Biden by 5.2-points nationally.<\/p>\n<p>(Trafalgar Group, the second most accurate pollster from 2020, has not released a poll since March. But that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrafalgargroup.org\/news\/nat-pres-0401\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a> showed Trump leading Biden, 43.1 percent &ndash; 39.8 percent.)<\/p>\n<p>In other words, within the last month, 2020&rsquo;s most accurate pollster showed Trump holding a 5.2-point lead. And now, 2020&rsquo;s third most accurate pollster has shown Trump with a 7-point lead.<\/p>\n<p>Second, Trump&rsquo;s lead over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/multiple-house-democrats-side-republicans-vote-condemn-border-czar-kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harris<\/a> mirrors results Rasmussen polling has produced for the last five months.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, in early April <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/biden_administration\/election_2024_trump_8_over_biden_third_party_candidates_have_little_impact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rasmussen<\/a> showed Trump with an 8-point lead over Biden. That was up from a 6-point lead in February.<\/p>\n<p>In May, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/biden_administration\/election_2024_trump_now_10_over_biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rasmussen<\/a> gave Trump a whopping 10-point lead in a three-way race that included Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n<p>More importantly, Trump&rsquo;s 7-point lead over Harris actually reflects a July bump for the former president.<\/p>\n<p>On July 12, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/biden_administration\/election_2024_trump_6_over_biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rasmussen<\/a> showed Trump with a 6-point head-to-head lead over Biden. One week later, on July 19, the pollster <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/partner_surveys\/election_2024_trump_47_biden_44\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> a 3-point Trump lead.<\/p>\n<p>Individual polls, of course, mean little on their own.
