benefit is coaching election offices on how to address concerns about leftist oligarchs&rsquo; silent coup to replace Joe Biden as the party&rsquo;s presidential nominee. <\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/center-for-tech-and-civic-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL)<\/a> sent an email to its newsletter subscribers highlighting Biden&rsquo;s Sunday exit from the 2024 race and informing election officials that &ldquo;voters and media outlets will be looking to you for guidance in the coming weeks, and you will play a powerful role in shaping this emerging story.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-7975ada6d435117520f6c5b6bd75c235 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-7975ada6d435117520f6c5b6bd75c235\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;Your community is likely wondering how the Presumptive Democratic Nominee&rsquo;s decision to drop out of the presidential race will impact voter&rsquo;s election experience,&rdquo; the email reads. &ldquo;Proactive communication from your office to the public and the media will help assure your community and inspire confidence in the ongoing democratic process.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>During the 2020 election, CTCL and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/center-for-election-innovation-research\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Center for Election Innovation and Research<\/a> collectively received hundreds of millions of dollars from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The left-wing nonprofits then dumped these &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/10\/12\/the-2020-election-wasnt-stolen-it-was-bought-by-mark-zuckerberg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zuckbucks<\/a>&rdquo; into election offices across the country and were used to advance Democrat-backed voting policies. Heavily directed at &ldquo;blue&rdquo; municipalities, the effort effectively amounted to a giant Democrat get-out-the-vote operation. <\/p>\n<p>In its Tuesday email, CTCL offered to &ldquo;support&rdquo; election offices in &ldquo;navigating&rdquo; Biden&rsquo;s exit from the 2024 campaign by providing linked resources from a bevy of left-wing organizations. This included a <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1cKauZzrzi1DsrGug6k39UqwsW_JWnCfowQcUdNBNBDM\/edit#heading=h.hk0ky9szhk84\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">list of talking points<\/a> devised by the Partnership for Large Election Jurisdictions (PLEJ) that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/zuckbucks-guides-election-offices-on-managing-bidens-departure-3\/\" title=\"Zuckbucks&#039; Guides Election Offices on Managing Biden&#039;s Departure\">address potential questions voters<\/a> and media may have about the 2024 election following Biden&rsquo;s dropping out.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/organization\/partnership-for-large-election-jurisdictions-plej\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">InfluenceWatch<\/a>, PLEJ is &ldquo;a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/zuckbucks-guides-election-offices-on-managing-bidens-departure\/\" title=\"Zuckbucks&#039; Guides Election Offices on Managing Biden&#039;s Departure\">membership-based coalition open<\/a> to election officials and administrators representing jurisdictions that have a population greater than 300,000 or that are one of the three largest jurisdictions in their state.&rdquo; Last year, the group signed onto a letter written by the left-wing&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/election-infrastructure-initiative\/\">Election Infrastructure Initiative<\/a> &mdash; a CTCL venture &mdash; that attacked &ldquo;[c]ongressional Republicans for opposing additional federal funds for state and local elections.&rdquo; PLEJ has also &ldquo;received funding&rdquo; from the left-wing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/democracy-alliance-democracy-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Democracy Fund<\/a>, according to InfluenceWatch.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-4b7007b04c5b9c62f73edeb55d5eae4d fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-4b7007b04c5b9c62f73edeb55d5eae4d\"><\/div>\n<p>CTCL also provided election officials with communication resources from Democrat-aligned organizations such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/for-profit\/the-elections-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Elections Group<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/u-s-alliance-for-election-excellence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.honestelections.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/HEP_Locke_Alliance-for-Election-Excellence-Report-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">described<\/a> as an $80 million&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/20\/inside-democrats-newest-election-takeover-scheme-report-unmasks-dark-money-group-youve-probably-never-heard-of\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">venture<\/a>&nbsp;launched by CTCL in 2022&nbsp;to &ldquo;systematically influence every aspect of election administration&rdquo; and advance Democrat-backed voting policies in local election offices. The Elections Group is a participating member of the Alliance, along with a <a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/U.S._Alliance_for_Election_Excellence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">host<\/a> of other entities that are also left-leaning.<\/p>\n<p>CTCL isn&rsquo;t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/zuckbucks-guides-election-offices-on-managing-bidens-departure-2\/\" title=\"Zuckbucks&#039; Guides Election Offices on Managing Biden&#039;s Departure\">solely coaching election officials<\/a> on how to grapple with Biden&rsquo;s exit, however. The group is also seemingly aiming to collect information from election offices and establish relationships with them. <\/p>\n<p>Enclosed in the Tuesday newsletter is a link to a <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.techandciviclife.org\/team\/gov-services\/navigating-changes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">survey<\/a> election officials can fill out to share how the Biden-Harris candidate swap &ldquo;will impact [their] work&rdquo; and inform CTCL of &ldquo;what additional support would be helpful &hellip; in the coming days and weeks.&rdquo; The survey includes several statements officials are asked to rate on a one-to-five scale, with one signifying &ldquo;strongly disagree,&rdquo; and five signifying &ldquo;strongly agree.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>  Among the statements are: &ldquo;The change in presumptive nominee will greatly impact my office&rsquo;s workflow,&rdquo; and &ldquo;My office understands the processes in state and federal law that apply to the change in a presumptive nominee.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-400c1afc975d8e1da215d7bb94642947 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-400c1afc975d8e1da215d7bb94642947\"><\/div>\n<p>The survey further includes two response-style questions, in which election officials are asked to disclose &ldquo;[h]ow, if at all, [they] anticipate [their] office&rsquo;s workflow will be significantly impacted&rdquo; by Biden&rsquo;s exit and &ldquo;[w]hat, if anything &hellip; [their] office need[s] right now to prepare for these changes.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The attempt to collect personal information from election offices closely mirrors <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/01\/08\/exclusive-how-a-left-wing-alliance-skirted-arizonas-zuckbucks-ban-to-meddle-in-key-countys-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">prior questionnaires<\/a> CTCL has distributed in the past.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-33b6e626d0ce09f9368791a478a4e5ce fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-33b6e626d0ce09f9368791a478a4e5ce\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<div class=\"article-author-description fst-italic\">      Shawn Fleetwood is a staff writer for The Federalist and a graduate of the University of Mary Washington. PLEJ has also received funding from the left-leaning Democracy Fund.<\/p>\n<p>CTCL provided election officials with communication tools from Democrat-aligned groups like The Elections Group and the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence, an $80 million initiative launched by CTCL in 2022 aimed at influencing election administration and promoting Democrat-supported voting policies.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to advising on Biden&#8217;s exit, CTCL appears to be gathering information from election offices and building relationships with them. The Tuesday newsletter included a link to a survey for election officials to express how the Biden-Harris candidate change &#8220;will impact [their] work&#8221; and what additional support they might need in the near future.
