Josh Hawley of Missouri wrote in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawley.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Hawley-Letter-to-DHS-re-Drone-Whistleblower.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">scathing letter<\/a> to Homeland Security Secretary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mayorkas-full-confidence-kimberly-cheatle-jaw-dropping-statement-less-48-hours-trump-nearly-killed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alejandro Mayorkas<\/a>, who oversees the Secret Service.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;According to reports, the shooter used a drone to survey the site in preparation for his attack,&rdquo; Hawley stated. &ldquo;This was confirmed by FBI Director Christopher Wray in his testimony just yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In fact, he confirmed that the shooter was operating the drone approximately two hours before President Trump took the stage in Butler, Pennsylvania.
