In response, Senator‌ Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) introduced the “No Visas for Violent Criminals Act,” which aims to deport foreign nationals‌ involved in criminal activities during protests. Cotton expressed his condemnation of the⁢ protestors’ actions on social media, ‍stating that foreigners participating in violence should have ⁣their‌ visas revoked. His proposed ⁢legislation would‍ modify existing immigration laws to expedite the deportation‍ of individuals who commit crimes, such as ‌vandalism of federal property, while protesting. This initiative ⁣is ‍supported by fellow Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and Ted Budd (R-N.C.), and a counterpart bill was also introduced in the ⁤House by Representative Jim Banks ‍(R-Ind.). The legislation reflects ongoing Republican calls for ‍the Biden administration to enforce U.S. immigration laws against those ⁤perceived as terrorist‌ sympathizers.

A mob gathered outside Union Station in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s joint session address to Congress, during which a rabble of pro-Hamas protesters burned American flags and vandalized federal monuments.

In response, Sen.
