He made a public appearance on Monday and is scheduled to give an address on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It has been determined that Biden&rsquo;s &ldquo;symptoms are resolved&rdquo; after taking many doses of Paxlovid after he tested positive for COVID-19 last week, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2024\/07\/23\/biden-doctor-covid-well\/74514408007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USA Today<\/a>. This comes after he pulled out of the presidential race on Sunday following weeks of pressure from Democrats, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>A July 22 X post shows an image of the Capitol building with an American flag flying at half-mast. Text overlaid on the image reads &ldquo;Capitol Cam&rdquo; and &ldquo;1 hour ago.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The X user claims, &ldquo;Flags at Capitol are at half mast. Joe Biden has passed away.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><span>There is no evidence to suggest Biden has died, however. Biden is scheduled to make an address Wednesday evening regarding his decision to drop out of the race, according to a July 23 X post from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/POTUS\/status\/1815766423056080912\"><span>@POTUS<\/span><\/a><span>  account.&nbsp;<\/span><span>He was seen disembarking Air Force One on Monday in multiple <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-steps-off-of-air-force-one-as-he-news-photo\/2162556061?adppopup=true\"><span>photos<\/span><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-speaks-to-the-press-as-he-arrives-at-news-photo\/2162555924?adppopup=true\"><span>from<\/span><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-arrives-at-joint-base-andrews-in-news-photo\/2162555758?adppopup=true\"><span>Getty<\/span><\/a><span>  Images.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The flags were at half-mast due to the death of Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, 74, who passed on Friday after a battle with pancreatic cancer, according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2024\/07\/20\/g-s1-12457\/sheila-jackson-lee-dies-74\"><span>NPR<\/span><\/a><span>.
