It is unknown what affiliation most of the registrations counted for, but it is likely that a majority are Democrats, given the timing.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Vote.org smashed a 48-hour record for new voter registrations during the 2024 cycle, registering more than 38,500 Americans over that timeframe following President Biden&rsquo;s announcement on Sunday,&rdquo; Andrea Hailey, CEO of Vote.org, said in a press release.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Younger voters led the way, making up 83% of new registrations. A healthy democracy depends on all Americans making their voices heard at the ballot box, and this is a highly encouraging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-taking-regeneron-drug-remdesivir-therapy-for-coronavirus-diagnosis-ex-wh-doctor-explains\/\" title=\"Trump taking Regeneron drug, Remdesivir therapy for coronavirus diagnosis: ex-WH doctor explains\">sign<\/a> that voters are ready to do just that,&rdquo; she added.<\/p>\n<p>Some Harris supporters <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Victorshi2020\/status\/1816097106295156874\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>lauded<\/a> the boost, saying, &ldquo;The youth will save us.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The voter registration boost could be another sign of a wave of enthusiasm for the Democratic Party and for likely nominee Vice President Kamala Harris since she took over for Biden.
