The rally was held at Vance&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/despite-insistence-by-democrat-politicians-and-medical-elites-empirical-evidence-does-not-conclusively-show-that-masks-reduce-the-spread-of-covid\/\" title=\"Despite Insistence by Democrat Politicians and Medical Elites, Empirical Evidence DOES NOT Conclusively Show that Masks Reduce the Spread of COVID\">high school<\/a> in Middletown, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Threads post, which has received over 1,000 likes as of writing, claims Vance has been divorced twice. &ldquo;Vance, twice divorced, chastised others for divorcing like changing unerwear [sic],&rdquo; the post, which does not provide a source to support its claim, reads.<\/p>\n<p>The claim is false. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/XJ18b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The New York Times<\/a>, Vance married his wife Chilukuri Vance in Kentucky in 2014. The pair met at Yale Law School, the outlet reported. Likewise, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christiantoday.co.in\/news\/ohio-senator-jd-vance-reveals-hindu-wifes-support-for-his-christian-faith.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Christian Today<\/a> also reported Vance and Chilukuri Vance wed in 2014. The couple had both Christian and Hindu ceremonies when they married, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/t9voX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Business Insider<\/a> indicated. Actually, the opposite is true. On July 19, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/factcheck\/2024\/07\/19\/jd-vance-divorced-fact-check\/74474565007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USA Today<\/a> reported the claim was false. Vance&rsquo;s spokesperson, Luke Schroeder, denied the claim&rsquo;s validity in an email to the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Senator Vance was not married prior to his marriage with Usha,&rdquo; Schroeder said, according to USA Today.<\/p>\n<p>While the claim about Vance being divorced twice is false, the Threads post correctly attributes the &ldquo;changing underwear&rdquo; quote to him. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en\/article\/93abve\/jd-vance-suggests-people-in-violent-marriages-shouldnt-get-divorced\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VICE<\/a>, Vance said people &ldquo;shift spouses like they change their underwear&rdquo; while delivering remarks at Pacifica Christian High School in Southern California in September 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This is one of the great tricks that I think the sexual revolution pulled on the American populace, which is the idea that like, &lsquo;well, OK, these marriages were fundamentally, you know, they were maybe even violent, but certainly they were unhappy.
