(AP Photo\/Ted Shaffrey)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Approximately 93% of all McDonald&rsquo;s locations are committed to continuing this $5 meal deal, though the length of the extension will vary among restaurants, according to a memo viewed by Bloomberg News.<\/p>\n<p>The move to extend this deal comes as McDonald&rsquo;s is also planning to increase its &ldquo;affordability plans through the rest of year,&rdquo; the memo states. The chain is also seeking to increase its hours of operation to serve customers during off-peak hours.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald&rsquo;s executives have stated the company plans to introduce more deals in the wake of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/economy\/2986644\/mcdonalds-offer-more-deals-better-promotions-rising-inflation\/\">customer complaints <\/a>regarding the chain&rsquo;s rising prices.
