Neither adult was hit.<\/p>\n<p>The woman who fired on the couple, whose name was not released, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/philadelphia-shooting-suspect-told-police-killing-spree-help-fight-gun-violence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">arrested<\/a> on Friday, police said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcphiladelphia.com\/news\/local\/baby-shot-holmesburg-northeast-philadelphia\/3916885\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WCAU-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A man who said he drove the child to a nearby hospital said the parents each had warrants out on them.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;When I find out the baby was 7 months and both parents said they have warrants. They got out the car and I took the baby. I just felt like I had to protect this child. It was overwhelming.
