Trump also featured the uniform of the firefighter who lost his life during the attempt onstage.<\/p>\n<p>A post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, alleges that BBC News reports that wealthy Ukrainians have donated to Trump&rsquo;s campaign. The post shared the alleged video which features pensive music over images of money, Trump and text making the claim that Ukrainian businessmen have donated to his cause.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Three of Ukraine&rsquo;s richest oligarchs have jointly donated $8 million to Donald Trump&rsquo;s election campaign,&rdquo; the caption reads. &ldquo;Trump&rsquo;s new campaign sponsors are Igor Kolomoisky, his longtime business partner Gennady Bogolyubov and industrialist Konstantin Zhevago.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The claim is inaccurate. The video is not from BBC News. There is no record of this report on the<span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\">BBC website<\/a>. Likewise there is no record of this report on any of BBC News<span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BBCNews\">social<\/a><span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bbcnews\/\">media<\/a><span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bbcnews\/\">accounts<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bellingcat, an &ldquo;investigative collective of researchers, investigators and citizen journalists,&rdquo; also found that the video is not from the<span>&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/bellingcat\/status\/1813928973505819059\">BBC<\/a>. Foreign donations to American political<span>&nbsp;<\/span>campaigns are illegal, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/help-candidates-and-committees\/candidate-taking-receipts\/who-can-and-cant-contribute\/#who-cant-contribute\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Federal Election Commission<\/a>.
