I came that they may have life and have it abundantly&rdquo; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+10%3A10&amp;version=ESV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John 10:10<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The misconception within the Christian life is to imagine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rep-thomas-massie-announces-death-wife-rhonda-went-heaven\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heaven<\/a> as the beginning of abundant life, but that view is incomplete.<\/p>\n<p>Certainly, Heaven, more specifically &mdash; eternity with God, is something to long for, but God starts to work in our lives now.<\/p>\n<p>If we are in Christ, God desires us to have abundant life. How is this possible in a world that is resistant to God? Can we really <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-president-trump-gives-pardons-to-73-individuals-and-commutes-another-70-sentences-steve-bannon-is-included\/\" title=\"BREAKING: President Trump Gives Pardons to 73 Individuals and Commutes Another 70 Sentences \u2013 Steve Bannon Is Included\">live life<\/a> to its fullest when the world <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-haters-immediately-flood-twitter-sick-new-hashtag-pure-evil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">promotes sin<\/a> and despises righteousness? Is thriving for Christ possible when our surroundings look like the opposite of Heaven?<\/p>\n<p>  <script> \t\t\t\tif( ! getCookie( 'ff_subbed' ) ) if( typeof FFADS.replace_ict !='undefined' ) if( FFADS.replace_ict ) eval( FFADS.replace_ict ); \t\t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>The answer to all these questions is a resounding yes!<\/p>\n<p>Scripture lets us know that we are in the world but not of the world (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+John+2%3A15-17&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 John 2:15-17<\/a>). Our yearning for Christ&rsquo;s return and recognition that we belong to the Kingdom of God (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Philippians+3%3A20&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Philippians 3:20<\/a>) gives us motivation and joy to live life for God&rsquo;s glory.<\/p>\n<p>We should remind ourselves that our struggling, frustrations, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/can-experience-hardship-without-resorting-grumbling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hardships in this life<\/a> are only temporal.<\/p>\n<p>Sons and daughters of the Most High are called to walk in faith (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=2+Corinthians+5%3A7&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2 Corinthians 5:7<\/a>). We experience God working in and through us as we step out in faith and obedience.<\/p>\n<p>Think about it: We are living in a unique time in the history of creation. We are privileged to be used by God for His glory, while walking in faith.<\/p>\n<p>One of the focal means for glorifying Him is by pointing others to Jesus (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+5%3A16&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew 5:16<\/a>). When we are reigning with God in Heaven (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=2+Timothy+2%3A12&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2 Timothy 2:12<\/a>), there will be no need to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/evangelism-sharing-gospel-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">evangelize<\/a>. Everyone there will be part of the family of God (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+John+3%3A1-2&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 John 3:1-2<\/a>)!<\/p>\n<p>As we remind ourselves of the promises we have in Christ, we begin to find joy in living life &hellip; even in the difficulties. How energizing is it to see God using you in others&rsquo; lives?<\/p>\n<p>Do you find encouragement in seeing God answer prayers &mdash; whether for growth, healing, provision, peace, etc.?<\/p>\n<p>My encouragement for all Christians is to pray for the growth of faith (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=2+Thessalonians+1%3A3&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2 Thessalonians 1:3<\/a>) because it is through faith that we please God (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Hebrews+11%3A6&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hebrews 11:6<\/a>) and experience His abundant life.<\/p>\n<p>Also, pray that God would help us to see His work in the world around us. When we recognize His work, we can rejoice and join in the action.<\/p>\n<p>This recognition gives the believer the proper perspective &hellip; the world is not a hopeless cause, but rather an opportunity to make an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/deaf-mothers-hands-faith-spread-gospel-message-worldwide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">impact for the Kingdom of God<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Will you choose to live today in the abundant life that is found only in Christ?
